I wasn't paying rapt attention. All the hookups and alliances go over my head.

MISSION: It resembled a really old-school video game. Players had to climb on pegs, go through ropes and swing into a bunch of boxes. Only thing missing was Brad throwing barrels down ramps. Nia got sent into elimination; this was a given because she did backstory interviews. I believe Theo finished last among the guys, so he'll be disadvantaged next week. Jenny and Kyland won, and they sent Michele-With-One-L to face Nia.

ELIMINATION: *sigh* To the disgust of some fans, it was not a headbanger. Nia and Michele had to solve equations to open combination locks that would unchain boxes. Both sides got chalk to do the math, and I'm thinking Darrell's at home pissed off that he didn't get that. Anyway, Michele dominates the match, sending Nia out. She then put Targets on Johnny, Jordan and Nehemiah.

Here's a better recap of the episode. I forgot that Johnny was a pot-stirring bitch through the bulk of the ninety minutes.

This whole "Johnny vs. The People" thing going on, I love it. I like petty Johnny. This is my kind of carrying on. I love watching people drop bombs and fuck shit up.

What exactly did they expect Johnny to do? Tori and Michele have pretty much declared they are avenging Devin by targeting Johnny. Tori didn't like that Johnny whispered in Michele's ear about Devin using Michele for game. Michele literally said Johnny needs to feel the repercussions. Now, she's butt-hurt that Johnny picked her as a target? Michele feels backstabbed by Johnny after telling Tori he should feel the repercussions?

Make it make sense!

Johnny chose the strongest female competitors.  The vacation alliance or whatever may have numbers but they're not necessarily the most athletic.

The Daily was pretty serious.  Most completed it except a few of the women but climbing that wall at the start wasn't easy.

Next week is a mini final so endurance comes into play.

They've been showing montages of some of them working out all season so you'd think they'd be ready but Nia was one of the poorest athletes, though she probably would have beaten Michelle in something like the Hall Brawl.

That daily looked fun! I enjoyed watching it.

I was hoping Cara would get last because I wanted to see some people squirm at the thought of going against her in an elimination.

I usually watch minimum the next day on the Verizon app, but the episode wasn't listed in the full episode lineup. I only just discovered that the episode is there, just not listed properly.

I thoroughly enjoyed this episode. Something about the daily challenge, the antics of bananas, strategy, seeds of doubt planted, the episode felt very vintage, very nostalgic. Finally some action. The editing of Aviv saying hopefully the next challenge won't involve running, then cutting to the mini final was sad and hilarious.

Preview for next episode looks great, can't wait.
