Did we really need an entire episode featuring James' nipples? At least we didn't have to endure the Turkish Twats or Stapler & Dumpster Fire this week.

I'm not sure how unlikeable Josh can get, but each week he's slowly digging himself deeper. Good for Lily to put her foot down on paying for the wedding - if I knew that my husband had "a nest egg" and I was springing for everything, I'd be pissed, too. At first I thought that Lily was being overly nagging about the money because it was constantly brought up, but I'll bet dollars to donuts that Josh has a sizeable chunk in savings and Lily is pissed that he's not using that to contribute while she works her ass off to support him. I'm sure that the house reno wasn't necessary (I mean, two completely non-disabled people needing an elevator with music?), but after these last 2 episodes I think Josh is a bigger dick with some major underlying issues than we were expecting. The look on his face when they were running that card told me he KNEW it wasn't going to go through.

Advice of the week for Corona-If you have to talk him into marrying you, you shouldn't get married, period.  He's just not that into you! Can't you see he's just telling you what you want to hear?  I think the truth is dawning on her, though.  

I don't see how she can get so angry at him.  Ingi was always "Yeah, we'll see what happens", with no real sacrifice,  while she (supposedly) ripped up her life for this.  

I agree about Josh's nipples and tats, but I could have had an entire episode on Java alone.  Yet another bucket list place.  I've always wanted to see Krakatoa.  Talia was the most beautiful I've ever seen her, and she was on her best behavior so far.  Wait until next week when James of the nipples wants to go back to the USA!  I'm surprised he hasn't thought of a possible compromise-they go back so he can make a living, and put them into a position of at least discussing a child.

I also agree there's something afoot with Josh.  I'll cut to the chase and say I think he's just a user.  The daughter called it.  Why do they need such a large place, anyway?  Aren't there any decent apartments in that city for two people, no children, that don't need a lot of work?  I wish Lily would listen to her gut, which is saying stop!

I don't understand that either. When he first arrived and she was showing off the new place, I thought, wow this gal is super rich and built an extravagant home for them. But now it seems she's not and they're both too poor to pay for a 20-person wedding? Something besides their bank accounts doesn't add up.

I believe that Lily did actually have the $ to pay for the wedding. She has created a very successful business and life for herself, and I don't think she's dumb. I think that she was testing Josh to see if he was really in it enough to use his cash stash to pay for the wedding. If he's smart, he'll pony up the $4K to keep his lifestyle as a kept man who doesn't have to actually sexually touch his sugarmama.

I agree it was a test, which he seems to have failed. I still do not understand WHY he cannot get a job in China. There are tons of foreigners, and Americans in particular, who teach English or work for multinationals in China. Why can't Josh do that to earn some money? Something smells fishy here.

I found this: Chinese immigration law doesn't allow him to work for five years until he can apply for his residency visa ( as of Jul 3, 2024).

It's because he's waiting for a residency visa.    Other types of visas allow work.   The other visas may not ever lead to residency or citizenship.
