Didn't see it coming that it'd be Joy.

I don't get the problem with Kylie's coding "friends."  She had to save herself from a frame job.  She shouldn't have been crucified for that.

Phoebe, for the first time, was used surprisingly well.  I was impressed with how they incorporated her this time.

Alec and Rose are a sweet couple.  I hope that they last for a while.

I missed the start of this-mid season last winter? Always liked Jesse Martin in L & O. Very much like his character here. Stories are intriguing enough, better than most these days.

You’re right, but they seem to all be a different sort of animal with bizarre sensibilities and ethics.

Okay, I can give credit where credit is due: I thought this was one of the show's better episodes. It would be great if most were like this.

 The research assistants and experiments were minimal (I thought showing the experiment as a flashback instead of Alec dropping everything in the middle of a case worked well); the behavioral concepts were much better integrated in the dialog; Rose was here! And she and Alec got to work together on a case; and while it didn't last long, it was an interesting wrinkle that they had to somewhat work against each other. I liked that Rose and Alec had a bit of relationship progression. And it warmed my Galavant-loving heart to hear Karen David sing! It was also great that Kylie had her own subplot relevant to her character growth.

On the down side, I did guess the killer was early on; procedurals gonna procedure....

Really liked the separate storyline for the FBI and Alec as well as the return of Rose.

Still can't get over the whole 'did two experiments' before even 24 hours have passed.  Oh, was surprised to learn that apparently just anyone can walk into an ADA's office at any time (Sophie).  And, that the police no longer investigate crimes-instead allowing 'consultants' to do all of the investigating.  Oh, and that witnesses/suspects will answer all of the questions that consultants ask.

This was a much better episode but it still left me with many what???? moments.

In the criminal justice system, the people are represented by two  three separate yet equally important groups: the police, who investigate crime;

the freelance consultants who upstage the police;

and the district attorneys, who prosecute the offenders. These are their stories.
