Didn't his daughter encourage him to hire Eddie, as a his driver? I can't remember. It wasn't his fault that he died.

Love how supportive he is, of Lorna.

I think to just represent Eddie on the carjacking charges

I thought it was strange Moya only sent one soldier given the proven threat. Unless the next episode rolls right into another attempt on Mickey what was the point of the exercise?

Yes. Does the one protector gangster stay awake outside of Mickey's house all night?

It also might help to have some small hints that during the 8 months waiting for this one case to come to trial, Mickey and company do handle other cases. Maybe just a shot of another client waiting in the office area?
The current clients paying with gold bars also seems like a red flag of some type.

They normally did a good job of showing Mickey in the Lincoln on his way to represent someone else for the other case of the episode.

With the introduction of the new tank and security I think for this episode it would detract  from the fear the firm was working under.

I'm not sure on California law on victims' rights, but I wonder if Andrea failing to notify the victim that the offender was being released is more than just something that could get her and the DA's office sued.  Did she violate California law?  Also, doesn't the DA's office have victim services personnel?  There should be someone assigned to a violent crime case such as this.  Ultimately, it's the prosecutor's responsibility, but having a victim services provider gives a "belts and suspenders" approach.  And Andrea's boss covering it up?  Yeah, that always works out.  In a case like this, there would be a public outcry by victims' rights organizations and demands to know how this could have happened.

Would Moya and/or Mickey be so stupid as to have Mickey's bodyguard be someone who is in the country illegally?  Why are they providing DeMarco with this ammunition?
