The View: Week of 10/14/2024

If there's any hatred it comes from their continuous (over & over) constant narrative, which sometimes spills over onto their guests. They say they listen to ALL views, but we all know that's pure bullshit. When they hear something they don't like or don't agree with, they cut off their guests and/or talk over them like a bunch of bullies.

And of course, we have Whoopi who thinks her shit doesn't stink. She acts as if her opinion is the be all and end all, and if you disagree with anything she's preaching, you're automatically called ignorant (or seen as ignorant). Whoopi AND Joy need to get off their high horse. And as much as I'd like to add Sunny to that sentence, every once in a blue moon she'll actually consider what the opposition has to say.

When someone asks me why I watch any show that I seem to hate, I often tell them it's the entertainment value similar to that I used to get a a kid/teen watching local and professional wrestling or soap operas on tv....I know it's fake yet I like detecting how they pose, posture, and pretend to be sincere. 

In other words, critical thinking-- the boogeyman of the far right--where I can pick apart their illogical arguments, identify their hypo/hypercritical misstatements or actions that counter previous statements or actions (sorry for the redundancy). And lament to myself how much $ they're making and how I'm the fool that's supporting them by watching. In that sense, like insurance,  Whoopi owes me big time. ;)

I forgot to say that I frequently tell friends the humorous observations that the people on the internet, i.e., most often this forum site, say about tv personalities. I really appreciate posters who post critiques that are so much more wittier than I cd ever imagine. Brava!!!  Bravo!!!

"Narrative"? I guess if acknowledging reality is pushing a narrative, then Joy, Ana, Whoopi, and Sunny are guilty as charged, LOL. But I don't think I'd hear anything like joking about the way someone mourns their deceased relatives from the View ladies, that's pretty dark and extreme to me, YMMV. *shrug*

And everyone's "reality" is different these days...right and left. So yeah, I'm sticking with "narrative".

Saying she gives fake answer because she likes to detect how other people pose and posture seems a little off putting to me.

She didn't say she gave fake answers, she said that she watches The View even though she finds the hosts to be fake because she likes to analysis their poses, posture, etc, which she finds entertaining.

And, Whoopi ("Listen!") apparently thinks no one else even HAS shit!  She's the end-all and be-all.  Also, the only way that ANYTHING will be solved is to VOTE!  Egad, Woman.  If we don't vote your way, we might as well NOT VOTE!  What will her attitude be when all votes are counted and her candidate(s) lost.  Everyone voted!  What now, oh Great Seer?
