Lucy and Bree attend a professor's Christmas party. Lucy makes a rash decision that affects Pippa.

I had heretofore been somewhat sympathetic to Lucy, but after that "confession" "for" Pippa in the bar, she can fuck right off along with everyone else on this show.

She and Stephen deserve each other.

Stephen can kick rocks. "Diana, what will I do without your rich dad's lawyer money or recommendation? Waaaaahhhhhh!" Uh, what the rest of us poor folks do? Work for what we have? FOH.

What was the deal with the earrings?  Why did Bree put them in Oliver’s pants pocket?

I guess Oliver gave them to his wife as a gift and now she is wearing them? I am assuming she hasn’t tied them to Bree or another woman.

The earrings were her gift from her boyfriend what’s his name. She put them in Oliver’s pants to out him to the wife. She got pissed seeing them together as the happily married couple and decided to move things along. 
 

i don’t know why I enjoy this show other than to be thankful I’m not 20 anymore where my hormones made all my decisions. Steven is repugnant and must just be magical in bed to make all these women tolerate him.

I should feel sorry for Bree because of her legitimate abandonment issues and isolation, but I caaaaan’t. I’m waiting to see the earrings as step one of Marianne taking Bree and her cheating husband down, although I expect she knows he can’t keep it in his pants and there won’t be any consequences for him. Really all the secondary characters should garner more sympathy than I can muster…except for Steven and Lucy, who really are the worst and do deserve each other.

That's what I thought (about outing him) but it seems as though Oliver just found them in his pants and gifted them to his wife. I can't tell if Marianne was letting Bree knew she knew or if it was just for show for Marianne to put her hair behind her ear to show off the earring.
