Brown44 October 7 Share October 7 (edited) 2 WEEKS!!! Where ever Carol goes she just attracts violence. Ash could've stayed in Greenland and got some, yes she wanted a baby but she clearly wanted that thang thang. Now Ash is supposed to chill for 2 weeks? Edited October 7 by Brown44 2 Link to comment
Morrigan2575 October 7 Share October 7 (edited) I really like Ash and I hope he survives. He's got a good shot if he stays off screen. Sadly i expect he'll get captured at some point. The show is progressing quicker than i expected. It will be interesting to see if Laurent is really immune to the virus. Sadly i dont find the Nest characters all that interesting, the one dude i liked turned out to be a traiter and sadly i think Fallou won't survive long. The English tracher's husband is most probably getting experimented. 😟 Edited October 7 by Morrigan2575 3 Link to comment

Morrigan2575 October 7 Share October 7 (edited) Side note...anyone start a death clock on Isabelle? The kissing scene just gave me the same vibes as the Greenland chick getting all hopeful about life before Ash shot her. Don't make plans for the future unpess you have serious plot armor! This show has the longest/weirdest offical name. The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon: The Book of Carol Edited October 7 by Morrigan2575 2 2 Link to comment
Straycat80 October 7 Share October 7 Was it really smart of Carol walking right into a crowd of people, giving up her gun, not speaking the language? Especially after trusting the two ladies in Greenland and look how that ended. Carol should know by now that humans can’t be trusted so easily. I think Ash will try to find Carol and something bad will happen to him. 3 1 Link to comment
Starchild October 7 Share October 7 I think her not knowing the language is exactly why she did that. It's like being lost in the forest and finding a river. You throw yourself in and hope it carries you back to civilization. 1 Link to comment
Morrigan2575 October 7 Share October 7 I'm waiting for the reveal that Carol does speak/understand French and is only playing dumb so they talk freely in front of her. That would be like when they arrived at Alexandria and she played the helpless house mom act. 2 2 Link to comment
iMonrey October 7 Share October 7 (edited) What happened to Daryl's dog? Does anyone remember? The France story is just weird. It’s like this kid is the Messiah or something. Why? Why do these people think he’s going to fix everything or something? I don’t get it. It’s just some kid that happened to be born to a woman who was zombiefied while giving birth. Interesting but not something that’s going to move the political landscape. It’s not like he has magic powers. Even if he's immune to the virus, so what? They know the bad guys are experimenting on the zombies, they'll just snap up Laurent and experiment on him. I just don't get this kid's importance or the reverence for him. It's just weird religious hokum that doesn't make any sense. Carol's story was more old school Walking Dead, until she got to France. Now she's all wrapped up with the bad guy cabal. How did she think she was going to find Daryl? Just wander around France until she bumped into him? Of course, that's exactly what will happen, but it's absurd. She has no leads, no idea he's even still in France or got there in the first place, she just figured she'd land in France and that would be good enough. I feel like they're having a hard time keeping Daryl relevant. I'm mostly bored every time the story shifts back to him and want them to go back to Carol. I also don't remember what Sylvie's deal is so her subplot is pointless to me. What is the significance of the pocket watch? Edited October 7 by iMonrey 3 1 Link to comment

Judith has the dog The etching is where Laurent is I feel like they should have given Carol more clues than the random guys at the scrap yard but I guess with only 6 episodes there was no time I do hope they reunite them quickly like Rick and Michonne and the rest of the story is them trying to get back home 1 1 Link to comment

It has Mont Staint-Michel etched into it, that's where "The Nest" is located. I was planning a France trip a few years back (never went) it was on my list but, it's up by Normandy, not close to Paris. 53 minutes ago, iMonrey said: Even if he's immune to the virus, so what? They never really explored that in TWD so i find the religous/cult aspect of it interesting. Edited October 7 by Morrigan2575 2 1 Link to comment

Rick and Michonne was a one-and-done, so getting them together quickly made sense. I can see Daryl and Carol not reuniting until the finale. Or perhaps only finding hints of one another and actually reuniting next season. Edited October 7 by Starchild Link to comment

Otherwise, the whole just wander in and surrender your gun plan seems a whole lot dumber than Carol can usually be counted on being. But then this is the same woman who set off on foot alone to a strange city with no more apparent plan to find Daryl than wait for some rando bad guys to show up and tail them to see if they lead anywhere. The French story with Le Kid Jesus is really dragging. So am I understanding correctly that the entirety of their big important ceremony is to deliberately let the most special of special snowflake kids get bitten to see if he's immune to the zombie virus? If he dies, it's going to be pretty hard to continue their cult. "Whoops, sorry guys. I know we gathered you all here to put all your faith and hope in this one kid. But doesn't he make a pretty zombie?" And if he doesn't, then what? Do they also have lab facilities behind all the religious iconography and the know-how to be able to translate that into something usable without immediately losing him to Le Madame Really Bad Guy? Great, Daryl. I've mostly enjoyed how grown up the relationship with Isabelle was compared to all the cartoonish yet strangely chaste fangirling of the mother show. But now you've set off all the death knells to ringing for her. 3 Link to comment

While that would be realistic, i hope it doesnt take until S3...granted they are short seasons. 11 minutes ago, nodorothyparker said: But now you've set off all the death knells to ringing for her. Totally, i saw that and said...i bet she doesnt make it to next season. Either she dies or Isabelle and Laurent leave for somewhere safe/needs to lead the flock to safety. 11 minutes ago, nodorothyparker said: But then this is the same woman who set off on foot alone to a strange city with no more apparent plan to find Daryl than wait for some rando bad guys to show up and tail them to see if they lead anywhere. I truly thought she had some clue, like something beyond France. Edited October 7 by Morrigan2575 Link to comment
