Hansu’s father-in-law might be an scumbag, but it’s about time someone called him out on what a shitty husband and father he is.

Older Sunja and Kato eating at the Mexican restaurant was so adorable. Too bad it looks like Mozazu is going to ruin it.

Yoseb spying on his wife and Mr. Kim gave me a bad feeling. On one hand, I feel sorry for him, but on the other hand, it was just creepy.

And now Solomon is going to ruin Naomi’s career. Takeaway from this episode: men suck.

I liked how although Noa would like to attend the University, how he didn’t want to do it at the expense of his Mother and Grandmother having to work so hard.

I also enjoyed the Mexican restaurant scene. Sunja’s face when she tried a margarita for the first time was cute. I think she bought the wallet for Kato. Why did that other man end up with it?

The actress did a great job of showing wonder as she tried some guacamole and sipped some margarita.

Not sure why they were so against simply asking Hansu for the additional money.  Yeah Noa might have an issue since he saw Hansu beat up a man and probably knows that Hansu is a gangster, preying on people struggling in post-war Japan.

Yoseb would be making a mistake challenging Kim, who's Hansu's enforcer.  But he might take it out on Kyunghee instead.  He is right to an extent, they're still married.  I don't recall, were there any signs that she didn't love him in season 1 or was it that he wasn't around and she fell for someone else?

Not saying what Naomi did, not being truthful with Solomon, merits whatever Solomon plans to do to get his way with the transaction.  But in the moment, after breaking up, he probably feels he has no reason to walk on eggshells about the business.

Looks like Hansu really is distressed, being forced to marry off his daughter to a man he doesn't like and the implied threat about Noa.

Omigosh, the scene in the Mexican restaurant was precious.  I adore older Sunja.  I was happy she seemed so happy (and tipsy) on her date.

Oh, Solomon.  He was already trying to come up with a way to manipulate Naomi, and now he has an excuse for getting back at her.  (In his own mind.  Of course her lie does not justify ruining her career.)

(Dumb question - Naomi's mom isn't Hansu's daughter, is she?  Because that would be too much of a coincidence and really gross.)

Poor Noa with all the burdens he feels he carries.  Poor Mr Lee, trying to be a good man worthy of Kyunghee.

I love this show but every week it's a struggle to watch.  Does anyone else have the problem of just a black screen after the placard re the languages?  I have to FF and rewind and exit and replay a couple times to get the show to come up.  Only this show.  It's really annoying.

I don’t have that problem, but I just watch it on my iPad.
