Tenax reveals his past to Cala as she tends to his wounds; Scorpus grows increasingly jealous as the elder Corsi brothers, Andria and Fonsoa, win races for the Gold Faction; Kwame faces Flamma in a rematch; Tenax and Cala face off with Ursus.

While predictable, I did like that Kwame didn't suddenly level up out of nowhere to defeat Flamma, but actually had outside help thanks to Cala.  I wonder if he'll ever find out what really happened: he was acting like he thought it was all him.  Also interesting that assuming the poison eventually kills, Cala basically doomed that woman Flamma was sleeping with, since she poisoned both glasses.  It's in character, though: Cala is definitely someone who will sacrifice everyone else to save her family.

Tenax not only survived the beatdown last episode, but ends up finally finishing off Ursus/scarred guy for good.  Impressive that he was able to hobble himself over there in time.  Admittedly, Ursus did take a while toying with Cala and then not being prepared for her to fight back like she did.  Still a bit far-fetched, but I guess Tenax needed to get a win back after taking loses for the past few episodes.

Marsus basically falls on his sword and tells Antonia to denounce him and try to move forward without him.  Her act is to seduce Scorpus and prevent him from racing.  Which she pulls off, but the Gold Faction still manage to win thanks to the horse trader bros.   I'm guessing this is going to lead to Scorpus getting major jealous.

Fun seeing Domitian have to watch his grand plan to take out Kwame fail, but I suspect this will just make him even worse and somehow will no doubt face his wrath.

Show is obviously not shy about its adult content, but this episode in particular felt like they really ramped up the sex and nudity this go around.

Be interesting to see what happens to Kwame after this. Will he be "The one to beat" now? That could create even more trouble.

I know there are really no "good" or "bad" guys on this show, but I think we're supposed to root for Tenax, Cala and her brood. And those kids helping them are cute, good to see Cala giving them their twos n' fews for their trouble.

Sad about the big bald guy hunting down Ursus. Guess he got in over his head (okay, sorry.)

But y'know who I feel really bad for? Whoever has to clean up all that mess, both at Tenax' house and his, uh, office! 😟

I think the true heroes of this story are Cala and Elia.  Really like both of them.

I like Tenax too even though he's unscrupulous.  But wanting Tenax to succeed means that Domitian has to succeed.  And Domitian is very clearly being portrayed as one of the villains of this show.

If Tenax is supposed to be a villain, then this is one of the few TV shows where a villain is listed as the lead actor and someone you are supposed to root for.  I liken him to Tony Soprano.  Tony was a bad guy who did terrible things, but still the central character and the protagonist of his story.
