Survivor 47 Spoilers and Speculation

There were rumors before the season started that TPTB didn’t care for this season.  I’m curious if that’s really true because I think this is the best new era season, and if the end game boot order proves true I think it’ll be interesting.  I know one thing Probst probably hated was how idols and advantages pretty much were wasted and treated as an after thought, and maybe some of the scenes where they didn’t care about fishing or were lying around camp instead of scrambling to find an advantage.  But I think it’s a good cast, with lots of personalities, dynamics, the most annoying people are gone (except Andy but I’m sort of enjoying his ‘legend in his own mind’ persona), there’s been great blindsides, and I think some good strategy.  So unless the end game just drags and is predictable (which could happen for the Kyle and Gabe boots if Tuku is getting picked off), I’m curious what they wouldn’t like about it.  And if Rachel wins I’d hardly think that was a bad outcome.  Probst said he loved her move with her SITD.

"[Genevieve's] a silent assassin," Andy tells Rachel. "And then she was also floating, 'We have to look out for Rachel. So you shouldn't trust her."

Whether or not Andy is actually intending to turn Rachel against Genevieve remains to be seen with context within the episode. Regardless, his goal is quite clear. He wants to provide himself multiple outs to set up as many endgame combinations as possible. While Andy coins Genevieve the "silent assassin," it's a title he finds more befitting to himself in private.

Just have to say this - I think that Sue’s biggest regret after watching this season on tv will be that, KNOWING that she’s on tv, never bothering to wash her filthy face, not one time

Maybe she thinks the dirty face will distract people from the atrocious plastic surgery and poorly done implants?  I also think she probably has a lot of skin discoloration, melasma, from too much sun/tanning beds and she might think having a dirty face will make it less obvious.

Sue may have had a massive meltdown when she had her first look in the Ponderosa mirror. I hope Kyle consoled her with saying she looked mighty fine for a 45-year-old who had just spent 20-something days on Survivor.

Sue does not have a mirror.  She probably has no idea her face is always dirty.  That makes me think that nobody bothers to tell her to wash her face.  It makes me laugh to think that others are letting her walk around like that.
