S40: Casting Speculation & Spoilers

So how much of this cast list is bullshit? This is a banger of cast list and seems too good to be true. 🤔

They covered just about everybody, didn't they?  Some of them had retired to the "kinder, gentler" all stars casts, so it seems odd they be back on the rougher show.  Just glad stupid Jay Starrett wasn't on there.

Edit to add:  Another question:  If this WERE a rivals season people have been talking about, who would pair with whom?

I think the deal is that the players will be separated into teams determined by their first season on the show. Basically, it’ll be 1-10, 11-20, 21-30 and 31-39. Sounds interesting, but it’ll probably crumble within a few rounds.

I just saw the trailer on TV and recklessly looked at an article about the upcoming season (inadvertently being spoiled re: winner of Challenge All-Stars IV  which I haven't finished it yet).

Anyway, the article had a cast photo.   I found myself noticing who's NOT there rather than who is.   

Wes.   It's wrong he's not part of that group, just wrong.   I realize it was his own choice, but shit.   It's just not complete without him.

My second-biggest disappointment is that I don't see Ashley among the cast.  I thought for sure they would lift her ban for this.   Also, no Nani.   No Jenna.  No Zach. 

Very disappointed that I do see Michele.  Yet at the same time thankful the season is Jay-free.

I had been hearing that Season 40 would be all vets.  Another disappointment to see some of the newer faces that made last season suck.   But again, a silver lining in the absence of Emanuel, who cheated to steal the win from Nurys.

CT appears to have let himself go again.
