Because this is part of the Boys universe, there are very few Supes who are redeemable. Starlight is about it, and maybe Maeve on a good day. Everyone else is a best a shallow narcissist obsessed with fame/fortune/ratings/sex and at worst a raging psycho. One of the things about Gen V is that there are probably more decent or at least potentially decent supes than there have been in 3 seasons of The Boys. Marie, Emma, Jordan and Andre all seem possible to be more traditional heroes. I don't think that the ship has completely sailed for Cate, but it seems rough.
