Kendra Wilkinson embarks on a new career in real estate with only eight weeks to land a spot on one of the most prestigious property firms in the world. She must rise above her old party-girl past to prove she's got what it takes to sell Hollywood.

Two seasons and no thread?  It's complete reality fluff but I can't be the only one watching this show?  Man, I'm really starting to question my mindless background tv show choices.

I discovered this over the weekend, but only made it through the first episode. I was not a fan of the company she's working with and the person who's supposed to be mentoring her basically set her up for failure.

I watched it once and found it painful to see how challenged she is.

OMG yes. But I have always gotten the sense that Kendra is actually very smart, but an airhead. And because she's cute and was an athlete, she's never really been pushed to be anything more. If this was more about her journey to push her limits past what she thought she was capable of (and probably what everyone has told her she was capable of) instead of trying to make her look bad for "entertainment", I would be all for this.

I've always been a Kendra fan - the girl is a hustler (not meaning that in a negative way) and trying her hardest to make herself more than a walking joke - but I did think the episodes I watched of the first season seemed to be trying to make her look like a failure.  I hope things improved and I'm assuming they did or else why would there be a season 2?

Perhaps I will play catch-up and see.

Somehow I JUST heard about this as she is promoting season 2. So I watched S1E1....way back when I am ashamed to admit I watched a few episodes of TGND, Kendra was my favorite. She was the only one that seemed in on the joke and was smart enough to use her position to set herself up for a future. I was actually sad that she and Hank couldn't work it out, I thought they seemed like a great couple and the kids are gorgeous. I admire that rather than go the route of constantly bashing Hef and getting paid to dish on her time in the mansion she is actually trying to move forward. I think she realized what the situation was and how messed up it was, but at the same time, it set her up for a life and lifestyle she would otherwise never attained. So, for that she is grateful to Hef and therefore won't bash his memory. I admire that she is looking for her next gig/hustle whatever and realizes the child support and probably alimony from Hank won't last forever; she seems more focused on the kids rather than finding her next sugar daddy.

While I think some of this is contrived, I think some is actual reality. Like, the difference between passing the exam and then actually knowing how to stage and sell a house. That, I can believe. Her name and fame however are what got her in the door at such a high end agency rather than at a Remax in the suburbs.

I watched one or two episodes and thought it was ok.  I’m just shocked that Kendra passed the exams.  I got my brokers license a few years ago and imo, it was very difficult!  I mean, I studied my asp off.  And, I’m an attorney!  I took real estate law in law school and thought I knew a lot about real property law before taking the real estate class.  Lol. So, imo, Kendra is much smarter than she lets on.
