If Davia hooks up with her costar, I’m going to be so over this show.

When Evan smiled at Marianna, I thought maybe he remembered her.

I think Mariana should talk to Evan's lawyer about the movement to depose him at Spekulate. That's a big secret for her to keep, and she needs back up.

Oh, yeah, I agree. They spent ages getting her and Dennis together, they better not have her hook up with someone else so fast. At least Davia convinced the director not to make the awful sounding play more awful. But I think he's pissed at her now.

Meanwhile, Dennis is annoying with refusing to take short cuts. I know his investor is supposed to be an awful drug user, but making a call to a friend is not a huge deal in the scheme of things.

I thought he said he was going to pay someone 10 thousand dollars to facilitate the license. That's a bribe, not a call to a friend.

I'm pretty sure the friend really did still do the bribe, and that Dennis still knows that deep down but moved forward anyway.

God the musical is bad. But Davia is also really bad in it. She just kept walking across the space with her arms by her side like a robot. I also think that was a lousy way to try to collaborate with the writer -- it's completely inappropriate to just tell him "the change you are making will fail, you should not do it." She should've raised the issue and they could've had a collaborative discussion. That's what musical workshops are for -- so it's very bizarre there's no one else in the room to facilitate those discussions. (I don't know why I'm all of a sudden expecting realism from this storyline though.)

Joaquin has ridiculously low empathy for his sister's situation. It's not going to help her deprogramming to ignore her attempts to talk about it!

Oh Malika. You are not winning that girl back.

I felt like the episode title and all that repetition about cheating was definitely pointing in that direction -- but I agree, I hope not.

He initially said money would solve it, but later he said all he did was call a friend to ask to move their application to the front of the line, and that he didn't need to pay any one off.

If money exchanged hands, then yes, that is a whole different thing.

If money exchanged hands, then yes, that is a whole different thing.

I mean he said that but he could have said literally anything. There is no reason to assume he’s telling Dennis the truth about the phone call.
