For all the talk of crossover you got one or two scenes with the casts on each show.  In other words, not a real crossover.

I'm glad they didn't drag out the serial killer storyline though.

Yes, but the mostly-implied gratuitous violence makes this one episode I wish I'd skipped.

That's what I figured when I saw the set up on the mother show. Can I assume that just about every scene with LAPD was in the promos?

I think so. You wouldn't miss anything by not first watching The Rookie episode 5.21 "Going Under."
