peeayebee April 7, 2023 Share April 7, 2023 Best episode yet. Kyle MacLachlan was great. I love the whole absurdity of that scene. I always enjoy Diedrich Bader. I thought he was ok on The Drew Carey Show, but I've loved him in everything I've seen him in since. The conversation with him, Hank, and Jeffrey Q. Epstein was great. I'm confused by that one teacher telling the bartender that Hank was the one responsible for the cuts. I'm I not remembering something here? Or is she mistaken? 2 Link to comment

Lol I watched that scene and thought, that guy is is giving off Kyle MacLachlan vibes. I wonder who he is… never mind! I watched Drew Carey but I don’t remember Diedrich Bader from there. But I also enjoy him. Seems like he’s always the best friend/husband guy. Link to comment
peeayebee April 10, 2023 Share April 10, 2023 Diedrich was one of Drew's two best friends, along with Ryan Stiles. 1 Link to comment
Arcey April 10, 2023 Share April 10, 2023 (edited) I don't think I understand the ending. What was that look on Lily's face after she "stormed out" (sort of) the restaurant? It looked to me like she realized how much she enjoyed the flirting and the kiss. I assume that guy is an old boyfriend. Then she leaves a message to Hank that she's staying a little longer. Did she sleep with Tom? (I think that's his name) That surprises me, since her initial response was so adamant, and seemed immediately real at the moment it happened. I'm hoping they clarify that later - although they do appear to have dropped the topless bartender story - for now. It seemed like she decided to leave, and killed the mood anyway, but maybe not. dancingdreamer April 11, 2023 Share April 11, 2023 I think Lily felt alive in NY. That was my take, she seemed mad at Tom. This really was the best episode yet,I'm glad I stayed with it. Link to comment
Arcey April 13, 2023 Share April 13, 2023 So are you thinking she stayed in NY just for herself, not having anything to do with Tom? I hope you're right. I like that better than her going back into the restaurant to tell Tom she changed her mind. In the coming attractions, which I usually don't watch, Hank tells their daughter that Lily is "leaving them." That's what threw me. 2 Link to comment
One4Sorrow2TooBad April 13, 2023 Share April 13, 2023 Doing my best to hang in there with this , expected so much more from this series. Link to comment
Arcey April 13, 2023 Share April 13, 2023 I'm only hanging in because I loved Better Call Saul so much, and BO especially. I agree that this was the best ep so far, but it generally doesn't grab me that much. It's pretty hard to live up to a show as amazing as BCS, but I was hoping for a little more than this from his next project. I hope this one keeps getting better. 1 1 Link to comment
