The music certainly made it seem like something would happen. Worried looks all around . . . building, pensive music . . . then, car starts and they drive off.  Such drama!

That agent who came to get Maddie & Chelsea must be the worst Secret Service agent ever.  First of all, there's no way they would have Maddie still on scene, getting treated by the EMT out of the back of an ambulance.  There would have been zillions of agents at the scene within moments.  And their first task, not knowing whether all the bad guys had been taken out, would have been getting Maddie the hell out of there and to a secure location.  But setting that aside, when he tells Maddie how relieved they are she's safe but they need to get back to the VP's residence, he turns away and starts heading to his car, leaving the wounded young girl to limp to the car with only Chelsea to assist her!  She should have been surrounded by agents, all with guns drawn and eyes on a swivel looking for threats.    

Plus - the Chief of Staff has no security?  Peter and Rose just need to get the key to her house from Val?

Me: “Actually, it kind of is.”
