The designers make a look inspired by a photograph from their childhood.

Haven't designers been sending men down runways in wedding dresses for a while now?

The one who got auffed didn't have the chops yet, so her time was coming.

I loved hearing Jame's story, and I wish I could buy what he sent down the runway, which was yet again amazing.  I also really appreciated Godoy's look as well as Megan's.  This was a great challenge, and I'm really glad that this show doesn't feature any toxic drama from the contestants or judges like PR/MTC tend to.  And it is really powerful to embrace James and Godoy and their stories especially with what's happening in America right now, with the transgender community having their rights taken away in state after state and drag being criminalized.

Really liked James’ story.
Is the audience clapping after every design walks new? I don’t remember it being that loud in previous episodes.

I think last season’s designers had more construction chops—but I have no fashion knowledge

Godoy is my current favorite.

Tangential comment; I know that lots of models have unusual features, and Gigi falls into that category as well. To me she looks a bit like she was stung in the face by a bee, or perhaps has mumps (I know you young-uns out there have never seen anyone with mumps). She just has a sort of swollen look.

Fascinating that they didn't clue us in on James' story until episode 4. I honestly would never have guessed if he hadn't told us.

Designers drawing inspiration from childhood photos is a recurring theme. Wedding dresses on male models have appeared on runways for some time. The eliminated contestant was still gaining experience. James's runway creation was exceptional, as was Godoy's. The lack of toxic drama among contestants and judges is a refreshing aspect compared to other fashion competition shows.

It's essential to highlight and support James and Godoy, particularly in light of recent issues faced by the transgender community. Overall, a well-loved episode, with previous doubts about the season dissipating in episodes 3 and 4.

The right designer was sent home, although others seem less competitive. James's story was touching. The audience's enthusiastic applause after each design seems louder this season. Godoy is a current favorite.
