AnimeMania February 24, 2023 Share February 24, 2023 (edited) Philo races to stop Vignette’s revenge before the Black Raven spark even worse violence. Premiere Date: February 23, 2023 Edited February 24, 2023 by AnimeMania Link to comment
thuganomics85 February 25, 2023 Share February 25, 2023 So, Philo is able to prevent Vignette and the Ravens from killing Dombey, but the coppers still invade the Row anyway and shoot the place up until they arrest Vignette. In other words, no one wins! To be fair though, had they been successful at killing Dombey, the cops probably would have flat-out massacred everyone as opposed to mainly just arson and cracking skulls (and a few deaths still, of course.) Meanwhile, Imogen seems to be starting to buy what Leonara is selling, which, to be fair, does sound appealing in a lot of ways. But it's understandable that Agreus is pushing back when you considered he literally saw them execute his officers in front of him (and stopped short of killing him as well.) But I imagine Ezra showing up is going to be a wrinkle in everyone's plan now! Tourmaline and Darius are starting to be my favorite things about this season. Which means I worry that at least one of them won't make it out in one piece. 3 Link to comment

Maybe when he was younger, as Legolas, I could have seen it. It is distracting. We don't know a lot about what Imogen believes, I think. And the class/racial/gender differences in society seem to lack finesse. Link to comment

And the class/racial/gender differences in society seem to lack finesse. I think that’s true to life. Imogen is sheltered, but she’s not stupid- we saw in season 1 she had more sense than her fool brother. She genuinely loves Agreus I think (I don’t think she would blow up her world just because she thought he was hot), but I do think a part of her attraction was that he could financially provide for her in a lifestyle she was raised to have/aspire to, she also saw he was smart/hard working to rise so high being fae. Compared to a man like her brother who was born with everything, was an idiot and wouldn’t even admit it to himself . She didn’t think what it would mean to give up her entire position in society for this relationship. Or the legitimate danger she would be in from human and fae both. The conversation she had about hooves vs feet was hilarious and I could believe it to be true. I understand Imogen a little better right now than Aregus. His having PTSD is understandable, but he probably feels he was able to work though his indentured servitude and has bought into “respectability politics”. But why did the woman sleeping in the hallway disappear/was murdered? 1 Link to comment
