Interesting choice to have the team stranded on this desolate planet and waiting on help to arrive. If you wanted to light a fire under Cid, why not tell her the mine she bought is a bust but there is a mine next door (with no one's name on it apparently) that is full of the shiny explosive she's after and we'll need a bigass ship to come and get it right quick before someone else shows up for it? If you put it in terms of "the commando squad needs you to rescue them" her answer is going to be hell no but if you put it in terms of money she'll find a way.

As much as I want to give Tech a hard time, I have to give credit to Disney for the neurodiversity representation here. He's not wrong, he just processes things differently and with much less emotion attached. Once Omega understands this she's understanding about it. Everybody grieves differently and for Tech, it seems to come in the form of nitpicking Wrecker.

Was it just me or did that rock float for a second while Echo was absentmindedly playing with it? I have heard theories that she is Force-sensitive and I wonder if we are starting to see that.

Best episode of the season so far. Visually stunning, I can't make up my mind what I loved most: the shots of the stampede, the sandstorm or the water scenes (show is always great with water scenes). And they also got the emotional beats right. Omega struggling with the loss of Echo and Tech struggling to connect. Really interesting to watch - great character work.

I'm intrigued by the Marauder thief, looked like a kid to me.

Likely going to be Rebel Scum... This is very sketchy... The Empire would not wipe out the settlement if there was that much unmined Ipsium- i.e. extract all, THEN kill everyone... so it must have been some kind of civil war among miners...

I really appreciate that this episode is not just some random adventure--even it is sort of structured that way--and instead included how everyone is handling all the stuff that has happened since the beginning really. They are not in a good place and it's hard. I'm glad to see that all that has happened before has not been forgotten and it's being shown how it is affecting them.

I really hope they get the Marauder back.

And finally, I'm trying to understand the episode title. I'm going with they, as a team, are in the middle of making a change and moving to something different and therefore crossing into something new. I guess?
