Primetimer August 18, 2014 Share August 18, 2014 The owner of a lonely fart is much better than the owner of a broken fart. Read the story Link to comment
bluebonnet August 18, 2014 Share August 18, 2014 Does this need to be done every week? It's pointless and so not funny. It's barely even relevant to the show, apart from the author using screenshots from this particular show to illustrate his incredibly elementary ability to snap at the exact moment a character is mid word. It would be a lot more relevant if these screencaps were all about the movements of the wig. 2 Link to comment
fliptopbox August 18, 2014 Share August 18, 2014 I just don't get how it relates to this show in particular. Is there some kind of reference that I am missing? You could do this with almost any show and catch people mid-speak making weird expressions. 2 Link to comment
PaperTiger August 18, 2014 Share August 18, 2014 (edited) The odyssey of The Wig would be fascinating. So say we all, so hop to it. Fart Faces has worn out its welcome. And please, give us an edit button. We're only human. Edited August 19, 2014 by PaperTiger Link to comment

bluebonnet August 19, 2014 Share August 19, 2014 (edited) Everything isn't for everyone. True. Though, that's why I figured the moderators always took such great pains to keep the forums organized. If elementary mid-speak snapshots is what someone wants to do, why not have it as it's own specific thread instead of making a new one each week? Better yet, why not just include it in the small talk thread. I always thought that was the place for off-topic, barely relevant stuff should go. This show is new so there aren't that many threads yet. If there is to be a new fart thread every week, that just needlessly clutters things up. Edited August 19, 2014 by bluebonnet 1 Link to comment

Right. And, since the name of each "fart" thread is not related to its corresponding episode, there is no way of knowing which episode they are about. The clutter gets worse over time with more episodes. More reason to have only one "random screenshot" topic. Otherwise, if there must be one for each episode, each title should at least indicate which episode they are from. Though it doesn't matter as most of them could be from any episode. 1 Link to comment
kieyra August 20, 2014 Share August 20, 2014 Unfortunately, screenshots are the new recaps. Even Jacob does it now. I can only assume this means someone did the marketing research and determined that "less words, more pictures" = more clicks. Link to comment
bluebonnet August 20, 2014 Share August 20, 2014 Usually with screenshots as part of recaps there is at least the written recap. I like the screenshots with the episode recap, especially when they are relevant, though of course YMMV. The fart face isn't anything but a bunch of screenshots of people in mid-speak. There's nothing to define what these pics represent. Even a byline under a pic with "Nora straining to not shit on her annoying mother's face" would be better than nothing as at least it would mention something about the episode. Link to comment
Rhetorica August 20, 2014 Share August 20, 2014 I clicked on the post for the first time today out of curiosity. My solution, I'm not visiting this thread again. I works for me and those who like it can visit and comment. Link to comment
Tara Ariano August 21, 2014 Share August 21, 2014 The thread auto-generates when the post goes up. This feature is a supplement to Omar's write-ups on the show, which have words. Link to comment
