  1. I started weeping. What an unexpectedly hopeful ending...
  2. The last seconds was a repeat of the opening, which was the uv light. If I were to grasp at the symbolism, chasing a bad guy into an alley is a way for him to get control over the case, his career... Maybe in a questionable way. Kinda like the light for his eczema? IDK...
  3. Yeah, actually, we don't know exactly. Probably days/weeks. Naz still has the burn on his arm for most of the episode.
  4. One thing that's stuck with me is how quickly Naz was to say that he wouldn't be able to keep the 8 balls down. How did he know how big they'd be? How was he so sure he'd throw them up? How did he clue in so uquickly what the plan even was? The average college student would've needed a LOT more explanation. Either they were short cutting for story telling or Naz knows a thing or two about moving drugs around. Very interesting...
  5. Man, that was hard to watch. Also, shut up, Jeff.
  6. Yes, the taped phone calls were so telling. Worth watching the entire docu for those alone - though I felt it could've been 20-30 minutes shorter.
  7. Hmmm.... Amy stirred the pot but good this episode. And then it seemed like she sat around and enjoyed some popcorn while watching the fallout. Not sure I buy the whole "I should tell Eddie before Emile does." Why? Just stay out of it. Oh, unless you're on reality TV and you need to manufacture some drama, I guess.
  8. Man, that was seriously like an hour longer than it needed to be.
  9. I am solidly on Team Kate, but I was disappointed to see her taking jabs at Leon this week. She'd been doing such a good job (at least from our perspective) on taking the high road with him. I'll cut her some slack for just being sick of it all, but she lost a little points on professionalism and maturity with me this week. And, while it looked a wee bit like she might have caused the fire, she certainly didn't seem too on-the-ball in dealing with it. Amy, on the other hand, total rock star.
  10. All women meet that fate. All women become first matronly, and then invisible. Most men reach that point only when they are just too old to fuck anymore. That dynamic exists in hollywood, corporate america, or just the cul de sac. And it's all about society's perceptions of youth and beauty- predominantly female youth and beauty.
  11. so, you're saying that commercial success is directly correlated to a female performer's attractiveness?
  12. "So you just carry that around in case a dildo-based argument breaks out?" One of a thousand brilliant lines in this episode.
  13. I think it was just a stall tactic to she could get to a safe place. She knew they'd eventually figure out it was her. And that's why she left. Oh, and also tired of the show.
