Checking in late on the conversation, but nothing much left to say about this bummer of a season anyway. Horrible ending.

The last episode didn't air until midnight because my local station decided to air pledge drive reruns instead. I wasn't happy (don't have Passport). Turns out PBS was warning me: don't watch, don't watch, don't watch 

Still, I hope there's another season because who wants to end on such a down note? Blech.

Well, I just finished the very first episode and my head is reeling from the massive cast, who cover every possible cliche in the book.  I'm not sure why they couldn't hold back until episode two or three to introduce a couple.  The plot-lines are equally predictable.

I expect I'll watch another episode or two to see if it improves since there doesn't seem to be anything of interest (to me) on at the moment.  At least its silliness and, particularly, the fabulous scenery and costume porn keeps my mind off the current shit-hole the Orange Bumpkin is cultivating.

Quoting myself because:

I told myself I'd keep watching (whilst playing gin rummy on-line) until "Josephine Baker" started singing and dancing with a fan and feathers, soooooo . . . . 

Now I can go back and read all the comments without having to waste all that time watching!
