Bit of PR puffery for 3.8 million viewers and a 0.8 in the 18-49 demo. A halfway decent number given the times, but it should have been higher given the preceding OT post game show had over 9 million viewers and 2.4 in the demo (I don’t know the doubleheader ratings)

If anyone out there has any ability to contact Trace Adkins, please tell him to listen to an audiobook series staring with "Deer Run Trail" by David R. Lewis.  They are old time westerns and Trace absolutely ought to play thre character of US Marshall Marion Daniels.  (And Dwight Yoakam should be Arkansas Bill Cole, who shows up later in the series).

Definitely not a surprise. They shouldn’t have killed off their supposed star in the first episode, among several issues
