What a weird episode…

Very weird!

With this being the second to last episode, the writers had to come up with convenient excuses to get these dull plots going.

How convenient, Liliana just happened to hear word on the street: the hitters from Dublin are on their way to do work in Chicago. Either she's sleeping with Paulie or little birdies are working overtime to deliver news through the Grapevine in the city. Ridiculous how she knew about that.

How convenient, Claudia rolled up to the Serb's spot at the right time just to see Tommy and Mirkovic talking for her to get angry. And Walter looked so relieved that he had this revelation to support his bullshit lie.

How convenient, Diamond walks into the barber shop, Jenard and Blaxton didn't hear the door open or his footsteps upstairs and proceeded to discuss all their intentions so loud and clear for Diamond to hear all. Unreal!

How convenient, Mirkovic is so stupid! He easily accepts a deal with Tommy and does not put a bullet in him for all he has done to his organization. Makes no sense!!!!!!!! And lets Tommy kill another of his men (to get even for Gloria). Huh!! Updated score is 88 - 1.

If Paulie had told Vic Walter offered Tommy a job and he turned it down, would Vic believe his father now that Tommy is behind the hit. Also, Tommy and Vic hit the Serbs and killed a lot of them, why would Vic believe Tommy is now working for them. Makes no sense Vic accepted what his father told him!!!!!!!!!!

Liliana knew from the chatty whispering nurse the Serbs hit Vic. But somehow didn't know about Gloria. OK!

So there are no Chicago cops investigating the shooting/death of Gloria and no local news or newspapers to immediately report on the Vic and Gloria incident. Is this Chicago or some small town? Nothing important for Andrienne and the other reporter to cover. Their focus is on the Pulitzer!!!!!

Seamus still can't put his foot down and confront the cop extorting him. As mentioned before, he can bring him down too with corruption accusations and it would quickly end this nonsense.

"Always on point "Seamus showed up to steal money from Diamond and didn't bother to bring a bag or two. Was he expecting Diamond to write him a check? He just stuffed a stack of $150,000 in his jacket's pocket. SMH! This character is so useless up to this point. They have to have some big in store for him??

Diamond asked "How much do you need?" Seamus said $100,000. Guilty Diamond gives him $150,000. Seamus couldn't just take the entire loot in the safe and call it a day?

Does racist Water know he has a black guy on his payroll or is Paulie hiding him from Walter? He was one of the guys helping carry the Four Horsemen's luggage/equipment.

How did the Four Horsemen get off the plane and through customs carrying all those weapons? Is Shoreline Signature Airport that easy with security?

Cousin Buddy showed DMac and Marshall his brilliance by putting a bullet in his own car. And that's how you treat your own cousin Buddy by threatening his life? Some family!

Tommy exposes Dmac to all this money the drug business brings and then tells him he could do better with his life. A kid that age is not going to listen. Couldn't try to pass this advice to Tariq??

Did Tommy really need to buy all those cereal boxes to hide money in his own home when he already showed to have stacks buried in the wooden crate or whatever it is?

It was obvious Claudia wasn't thinking straight as she wore that hideous coat with the "white whatever" on the shoulders. What's going on with the show's wardrobe team? First that bad suit Tommy wore and now this.

Is the place where they make Dahlia shared with other businesses? It would be funny if other tenants walk by daily and look through the glass window of these people making drugs.

Seeing Tommy so upset with JP calling Kate, makes me believe he didn't give him her number.

Kate changed her number quickly.

My goodness, the writers didn't even bother have Teflon Tommy duck out of the way from the barrage of bullets. He just stood there, the bullets went "around" him, he shot back and even managed to hit one.

It took a bullet for DMac to immediately say "Uncle Tommy". He accepted that revelation quickly. Wasn't even curious to ask why Tommy is "white" to be his uncle. Would he have remembered Great Grandma to know?

This was stupid. I was like "Come on Junior! Make that make sense! You know that doesn't add up." Why would make Tommy suddenly turn around and want to kill you after having so many opportunities before? How would Tommy know that you took your car and picked your own route out of the city (which was dumb as fuck in hindsight)? How would the Serbs be working with Tommy if ALL OF YALL just took their pipeline and killed a bunch of their people????

These criminals are not good criminals.

The awkwardness of that interaction when they came upstairs and saw Diamond was unnecessary.

This show has a Master of Whisperers now

He puts it all in his pockets 🤣

So the crooked cop has the balls to rob a well known drug kingpin but doesn't have the balls to say "no" to the other crooked cop.

Maybe he thought it wouldn't fit in his pockets 🤣

Seems like DMac hasn't been around his father since he was a kid. If that's the case, I question if he would have known about great grandma.

So weird. This entire season has been weird. The writing is bad and the pacing is awful.

I had high hopes for Claudia as a character, and when it looks like she has two ounces of sense she’s as dumb as Vic. Diamond and Seamus’ interaction- I can’t with either one of them.

1. Seamus, you chose to be crooked- I understand WHY, and your reasons could’ve made you a really complex character but please stop. Also, your sister chose to take the drugs. It’s not like Diamond was driving drunk and injured her while she was just walking down the street.

2. Diamond- please stop lamenting about not wanting to go back to prison when you are knowingly commiting felonies. You made NO ATTEMPT to leave the life- you want to be a leader again, what do you think would happen??? You aren’t noble dude.

We are also supposed to buy Diamond and this reporter having a love story, but all we have seen the do is have sex. Side note- I’m a straight woman but I couldn’t help noticing she has GORGEOUS breasts.

I didn’t find this eppy weird at all….in fact, IMO the last few eppies have finally been getting good!

15 was the N-word count for Jenard

Vic and Claudia – Maaaan, your daddy played both of ya’ll like a fiddle!!  Vic, he played to your grief about Gloria and Claudia, he played to your insecurities about wanting to be in the family business.  He knew just how to manipulate the both of you, well played, Da.

Walter – Vic and Gloria probably wouldn’t have been attacked if you hadn’t killed those Serbs in the bar.

Paulie – Swoon!!  So sexy.

More and more, I love Tommy and Liliana’s relationship.  She’d better not get killed in the finale.

Wow, Diamond now knows how Jenard feels about him….can’t wait to see how this turns out.

I don’t trust Marshall!  He was pretty clear in how he felt about D-Mac now all of a sudden he’s sorry?  Yeah, okay.

Seamus, just kill the crooked cop!  Set up a meet to ‘give’ him the money then fill his ass up with bullets!

Ew, D-Mac should be wearing a hazmat suit while dealing with all that dirty cash. Especially in such a small, poorly ventilated space.

Claudia sure runs hot and cold. She turns on a dime.

"You're either with us or against us." That kind of ultimatum usually doesn't sit well. Not for very long anyway. It might come down to who's going to kill Walter first, Claudia or Vic.

The cop shaking down Bennigan is probably about to get dead real soon. He got greedy and overstepped.

Is Seamus that short or is Diamond that tall?

Where did D-Mac get that bag of Dahlia? Clearly he stole it from Tommy but how and where?

The episode was quite whiplash-inducing for me. Too many sudden twists.

I think it’s both. Seamus probably 5’8 and Diamond is maybe 6’3. A good way to judge how tall actors are is to judge them next to appliances and doorways.
