Yes, exactly.  It was double  or nothing regarding what Bull’s brother owed.  Mitch lost. So he was supposed to get nothing.  His grabbing for the check meant he was reneging on the terms of the bet in front of all the people that worked for him and/or were in the bar.    His workers have to be able to believe he will treat them decently as long as they follow his orders. Otherwise, they might as well not follow them since Mitch could turn on them without  cause.

Then again, he is a freaking GANGSTER, so it's not likely anyone will give him much grief.  Bull's brother better make himself really, really scarce because a guy who just lost $86,000 is not going t take it lying down.

It bugged me that we were supposed to admire Izzy basically steam-rolling over Bull's emotions and preferences, by inviting the brother to dinner without even checking about why Bull didn't want him there.

Also, wasn't Bull married previously to Izzy?  How long ago was that?  Cause they said it had been 13 years since the brothers had seen each other, and the brother said some kind of apology about not making it to the wedding, and Izzy had never met him before.  So wouldn't that be two weddings the brother hadn't made it to?

And how idiotic does the entire TAC team have to be to not have immediately figured that there was some significance to which picture was chosen by the innocent guy's father to go into the frame?

Yeah, I get the premise behind it, but I gotta agree that since the guy is a gangster, it's probably assumed, or even admired, by his workers that he'll try to cheat when he can, especially on people who he is loan-sharking.  I don't think that if this situation had been in real life, that Bull and brother would have walked out of there with their bodies and money intact.
