S02.E04: Mugato, Gumato

I thought this episode was hilarious from start to finish but Mariner had one line I especially loved for how it was delivered: "Of course Starfleet Command didn't put it in the official records! Do you know how embarrassing it is to lose a starship to lice?!"

Even the episode title is a deep pull.  The creature was actually in the script of "A Private Little War" as a Gumato (and the stuntman in the suit is credited as such), but DeForest Kelley couldn't say it, so they changed it to Mugato for him.  Except that he and Shatner kept saying it as "Mugatu" throughout the actual episode.

I thought it was a great episode for T'Ana.

That reminds me of the Short Trek where the USS Cabot was lost to a Tribble infestation. I wonder how that was written up too.

This episode was great! I loved how we got to see someone other than Mariner be the hero and I loved watching Rutherford and Boimer working together, and a more assertive Tendi. Great character growth.
