Peter is smart and he and Alicia need to be together. The show won't work without them together. They are a power couple. He has done some bad things, but she has too.

It seems unrealistic that Peter isn't shown being an actual governor. He seems more like the good husband. Shouldn't he be agonizing about the budget shortfall?

Where is Peter living? I can understand not using the governor's mansion (has anyone lately?), but Grace mentioned his apartment. What happened to the house? I thought he bought it after they realized Jackie had used the kids' trust fund money to buy it.

It just dawned on me yesterday that Peter is my favourite character. I basically watch for his story line, even though he's a peripheral character.
