Dr.OO7 January 10, 2022 Share January 10, 2022 Holy shit. I see 2022 is wasting no time imitating its predecessor in carrying off our beloved figures. Link to comment
ch1 January 10, 2022 Share January 10, 2022 This is one of those deaths that just shock the hell out of you. This man was your childhood in the late 80s and 90s. 65 is too young. 6 Link to comment

Spartan Girl January 10, 2022 Share January 10, 2022 Terrible. But…is it wrong to say I never liked Danny Tanner? I haven’t watched Fuller House but in the original show he came off as annoying. And I really hated how let Michelle get away with everything while coming down hard on DJ and Stephanie. Plus, I hated how overprotective he was of DJ and had no qualms about butting into her live life. Did he have any kind of character growth in the reboot? 1 Link to comment
Prairie Rose March 26, 2022 Share March 26, 2022 GAC Family is now rerunning both this and the original series. When Fuller House was first on, I didn't have Netflix and had to wait until the first season was released on DVD to watch. For whatever reason, I didn't see the remainder of the series until GAC Family began rerunning it (right now they are in Season 2). The cast was engaging, but I would have liked to see more depth in the writing and to see the story fleshed out. To me, it made no sense to throw the recently widowed DJ into a love triangle right away. I would have liked to know more of the Tanner family story between the end of the first show and the beginning of the reboot, and for DJ to gradually become independent and establish her relationship with each of her children before reentering the dating scene. The original show had Danny doing just that, but I digress. For what it is - an appealing cast with a hefty dose of nostalgia (and yes, I was age 8 to 16 when the first show originally aired and never missed it), it's worth watching. Just don't expect anything great, and if you can't stand overly loud audience reactions - turn your captions on and mute the volume frequently. 1 Link to comment
