It was actually a fun show this morning. Joe, Mika, Willie, Jonathan Lemire, Michael Steele and Katty Kay were all laughing at what the former occupant of the White House's "big announcement" turned out to be. Joe is actually almost palatable when he's not bellowing for segments on end!!

The show was slow on the uptake, but they finally have the official merchandise!! @theredhead77

Where he can scream at the kids to get off his lawn and shake his fist at passing cars. I'm actually surprised he doesn't do this on the show. 😂😂😂😂😂

He does have a very thick accent, but not so much that I can't understand him. Mehdi and Ayman made a fun bet last week re: England vs. France in the World Cup. Mehdi bet on his native England, Ayman on France. If France won, Mehdi was to eat a croissant on the air. If England won, Ayman would eat fish and chips on the air. Last night, the handoff from Mehdi's show to Ayman's ended with Mehdi happily chowing down on a croissant.

If she was blond, blue-eyed and perfectly feminine we probably would not be seeing this amount of vitriol from her detractors. You're right. It's disgusting. I always turn this show on in the morning and find it effective while I get ready for work. Who needs an alarm clock or snooze button with Joe bellowing? 😉😁😂

I looked it up and MJ debuted April 9, 2007. My guess is they will keep up the "15" until the end of this year.

Ayman Moyheldin did that on his show last night, too. You'd think he'd be more careful, seeing how often his own last name is mispronounced!!

Do we know if he even wants a permanent MSNBC hosting gig? Maybe he prefers to be a regular panelist and an occasional fill-in host. After over four months of Alex Wagner, I'm kind of "meh". She can do the job, but I've never been overly excited about her show. I actually preferred "MSNBC Prime" with revolving hosts like Ali Velshi, Ayman Moyheldin, Mehdi Hasan, etc.

You're welcome!! Yes, Heilemann will be filling in on DWH starting Monday, December 19th. I went back and read the transcript, and his exact quote was every time he fills in for Nicolle, "the world blows up". I too enjoyed when he last filled in for Nicolle in August. He handled those two weeks of huge, monumental news in stride and with lots of humor!! It was great watching him.

@annzeepark914, I thought of you the other day when I saw Heilemann on a panel with Nicolle Wallace. He is going to be filling in for her in a couple of weeks. It was so funny - he was saying that he is bracing himself because the last couple of times he filled in for Nicolle turned out to be huge news weeks (Russia invading Ukraine, the Feds going to Mar-a-Lago). So you have an early Christmas present!! 😎😁💖
