Zonk May 8, 2021 Share May 8, 2021 (edited) So I guess all the super heros and super villains are descendents of the crew on the ship. I was wondering where they all came from all of a sudden, since they didn't seem to be a thing in the past. Man that is some major design flaw those aliens put into their super power machine, if not only the people worthy get powers, but also everybody who happaned to be in the vicinity. Yeah, I can't help it seeing it this way: All that conflict George and Walter have makes it seem like they want to bone each other real bad. I went back in this episode to see if I missed something, because they were acting like a couple having an old argument. Hanahope May 28, 2021 Share May 28, 2021 (edited) What a stupid plot. Some idiot gets a vision, convinces others to follow, and others nearby in the ocean gets super powers too, “worthy” or not?some had to “fight” to get powers, others just hung out on the boat? if the six were supposed to be solo it stupid vision should have said so. may least we know likely why the other groups failed. Probably didn’t have a woman. and what is the point of being in the union? Do they get paid? A cushy place to live? Because why would anyone want to work under Sheldon? Just don’t commit a crime and you can use your powers to do whatever else you want. Though some still crime but aren’t being actively hunted. Love that almost all the minority characters are the ones dying. Edited May 28, 2021 by Hanahope Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/118241-s01e07-omnes-pro-uno/#findComment-6807738
Ottis June 8, 2021 Share June 8, 2021 They should have saved the origin story until season 2, and spent all of season 1 on the moral aspects of being superheroes with a code in a more complex era. Draw viewers in with a strong premise, then tell the origin layer. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/118241-s01e07-omnes-pro-uno/#findComment-6829697
