Looked like a "lite" week for the pastor. Surprised he need to be reminded "hell" was the buzz word. Damn! Someone dropped a "Fifty" in the basket.

One NYPD cop just pulls up/no gun drawn/no partner back up/no cuffs and easily takes in Cane for a robbery??!!!!!? Then Ramirez shows up with an alibi and he's released. Soon the NYPD will get wise to Ramirez.

With Cane not having his head covered, I'm thinking the pastor and assistant could pick him from a line up.

So if circumstances were the same and Cane was there, nothing would have happened at the re-up?? Makes no sense why the fool would have messed up by being disrespectful to Monet when he dealt with her many times before. There should be repercussions to this. Wouldn't Rico realize the robbery story was BS/go after Monet or police can tell he was shot at different times/one bullet through the windshield but he was shot 3 times.

If Tariq can get his face cleaned up well, why not dispose of the bloody shirt before going back to the dorm? 

This show killed all their important characters, they have to keep dragging Paz back in.

Nice to see Carrie taking time to educate Zeke about his body on "Sex Week" and exhibiting her perspective on if it should be abolished.

Malcolm, Zeke, Jabari, Ramirez, and Brayden are hooked on these women and can't think clearly. 

Malcolm took pictures as if he needed to show the judge at the divorce trial. Next week, he'll be back from DC with flowers, candy and an apology.

Zeke wants to bring Carrie to meet Monet and family??

I don't think Brayden is fully over Riley yet. She'll be back and Tariq will need to confront her about Saxe.

All Jabari had to do was wait a few minutes to see Zeke walk out of Carrie's apartment. Nope! Let's quickly blame Tariq, so the food don't get cold. The school will fire him soon.

I feel for Bryden. Riley does really like him, but yeah she’s spying on his BFF.

I feel bad for him too. Am I mistaken or did Tariq lie? I wasn't paying close attention but did he claim Riley came on to him more than once? I know about them being in Bryden's brother's room but he had no memory of that. Once the brother verified the room situation, did Tariq then believe Riley hit on him?

I was so wrong about Monet last week! So she didn't put the "hit" on Cane. I wonder though if she told Lorenzo about being knocked to the ground by Cane. If she did, I'm surprised she wasn't expecting some kind of physical retribution against Cane.

I wish there was more Saxe/Davis/trial.

I'm still chuckling at Tariq telling them they look like 2 raw chicken cutlets!

Why is Malcolm always in NY when he goest to school in DC?  He wants to be a politician, right? He does know that only white politicians are allowed to have shitty grades.  

Professor Jabari is really creepy...with everybody. I'm surprised he hasn't been reported by someone yet. And then he accuses Carrie of doing something that he himself is doing, with no proof.  He saw condoms and SportsCenter; not sure how that equals student. Unlike Carrie seeing and hearing him with his actual student.  At least Carrie doesn't teach or mentor the one she's screwing. And declaring, just because, that he's now Tariq's advisor - I don't think that's how that works. I'm glad Carrie was able to turn it around on his creepy ass. And no one cares about your tears! Also can't wait till everyone learns he's ripping off a freshman.  He's not even being smart about it. I bet he's not even paraphrasing or rewriting. 

I'm surprised they revealed Riley's relationship to Saxe so soon. I thought for sure that there'd be multiple episodes of Tariq trying to convince Brayden that something wasn't right with her. 

The whole storyline with Monet was kinda not believable. This is someone their family has been working with forever, who they have a decent working relationship.  By all accounts on the show, EVERYONE know Monet is not one to be fucked with (because she's badass, because Cane is a psycho, because Lorenzo is the big badass psycho). So all of a sudden, this dude decides to piss her off simply because Cane isn't there or she doesn't want the whole shipment? They know the family is good for it. Makes no sense.

Tariq did lie. He told Bryden, that Riley came onto him on his bday (which he could reasonably believe given what Trace said) AND that Riley did it again while they were waiting for him during the “Cane kidnapping”. 
 

Tariq knows Riley is Saxe’s niece and he might not know exactly why she’s in his orbit, but he wants her gone and he used pieces of the truth to get Bryden to dump her. Given that she is actually lying to Bryden she can’t defend herself- although her feelings for Bryden are genuine.

He’s really creepily possessive of Carrie. I don’t like it. I’m fine with him acting a damn fool, but Carrie doesn’t owe you anything because you guys slept together again. 
 

As far as the ethics behind what they are both doing, I think Carrie is the most ethical one. Yes Zeke is barely a legal adult, but she’s not his advisor or teacher or anything- if they met at Starbucks it would be the same relationship. Jabahari may be fucking an actual adult woman (I’m assuming she’s 25 or so not 18/19) but she’s his TA so NOPE. He’s got no room to throw accusations at her.
