calliope1975 October 14, 2020 Share October 14, 2020 This was a decent adaptation of the short story. I thought they actually tamed down some of the more gruesome story aspects. Link to comment
Starchild October 18, 2020 Share October 18, 2020 I thought it had a nice open ending. I got the feeling that, for the sake of her daughter, she would not be going back down to the basement. 1 Link to comment
tennisgurl October 19, 2020 Share October 19, 2020 This was my favorite episode so far, I think it did a good job of balancing the supernatural horror with the real life horrors of mental illness, it was creepy but also very sad. I think the ending implies that Sean will leave the basement alone and let her wife go to be with her daughter, as having a zombie mom probably isn't great for her. Interesting that the original story was a heterosexual couple, its cool that they made it a w/w couple for the show instead. Link to comment

I assumed that was the case right away, with the wife being called Shawn. I felt vindicated when I saw the credits lol. 1 Link to comment
Duke2801 November 4, 2020 Share November 4, 2020 This was definitely the strongest episode of the series, imo, followed perhaps by the New Orleans episode. It was creepy and eerie, yet quite poignant as well. Link to comment
