It seems like a pointless, money wasting, middleman. I understand properly staged houses sell for more than unstaged, and sell quicker. However, the 'staging' scenes on this show where they are staging, and then selling for more, don't seem to add anything to the properties. I doubt it does anything for the seller, except give the show footage to show. Considering how many 'buys' on this show were still on the market in Season 1 of this show, I wonder if the 'staged' properties were even on the market. chessiegal October 7, 2021 Author Share October 7, 2021 Last season they showed houses from Uptown and the Garden District, so maybe they'll be some more interesting houses. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/111509-selling-the-big-easy-general-discussion/page/4/#findComment-7046989
buttersister October 16, 2021 Share October 16, 2021 I thought I saw that couple reconsider their decision when Brittany brayed that the location they chose would make it easy for her to drop by. 5 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/111509-selling-the-big-easy-general-discussion/page/4/#findComment-7063621
cameron October 16, 2021 Share October 16, 2021 (edited) Mandeville house buyers better keep an eye out for alligators in the pond by their back yard. DanaMB October 17, 2021 Share October 17, 2021 It was so obvious what house was theirs in the second episode. They didn’t even try to change it up to keep us guessing. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/111509-selling-the-big-easy-general-discussion/page/4/#findComment-7065498
chessiegal November 13, 2021 Author Share November 13, 2021 Did this show get cancelled? I had the DVR set to record all shows. It picked up 2, episodes 5 and 6. I haven't watched either yet. buttersister April 2, 2022 Share April 2, 2022 I could be wrong, but I believe the cable guide said this was a new episode tonight. A couple went for an old grocery store that had been rehabbed into a modern home. The building was more than 100 years old, so hope somebody looked into electrical, plumbing and structure, too. Brittany is still annoying. Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/111509-selling-the-big-easy-general-discussion/page/4/#findComment-7377875
