Keyshawn’s baby daddy scares me! Can that sweet but scary vet kill him so we can move on?

 

I now understand- it’s not that Uncle Clifford is scared of going on a date, he’s not going on a date with a gender conforming dude who needs to pretend he’s straight for his career. 
 

Hailey’s husband also scares me. Andre is a fool and a chronic cheater because his wife thought so right away! Also didn’t I say he was putting Corbin in danger?? Now Corbin’s brothers might actually not kill him because he is their brother, but they would hurt him badly. 
 

It’s been renewed for season 2! Yay.

I hate to admit that table sex with Andre and Brittany was hot. He ain't shit, and we only know that he slept with his wife as a substitute for not getting it in with Hailey, but still. Brittany forgot why she was mad for a minute. 

Uncle Clifford's "sometimes you gotta take an L to get to the W," is a whole word. I needed to hear that.

See, I think Clifford is scared to go on a date. He gave Murda a rundown of same-sex couples who were murdered. The lights in the car were cute, though. I'm rooting for those two to get it together.

See, I think Clifford is scared to go on a date. He gave Murda a rundown of same-sex couples who were murdered. The lights in the car were cute, though. I'm rooting for those two to get it together. 

Yes the table sex with Andre & Brittany was hot- I was wondering if this was one of their sexy games, she accuses him of cheating and then they have a quickie  

Oh okay. I feel bad cause it’s clear LaMarcus (his govt name!) really likes Uncle Clifford (and vice versa) and I want them to be happy! I know they live in a small town and not a lot of opportunities but by golly they are a bright spot. 
 

Also I wanted to say that the actress that plays. Keyshawn is SO PRETTY, her face is like a doll. Of course all of the women are attractive, but she looks like a sweet angelic doll, and she’s got TWO kids with that blonde dude that’s beating her up? Does he hurt the kids???

Yes, Keyshawn's face should be in a Mattel catalogue. So far, we haven't heard if Derrick's been hurting the children, but I wouldn't be surprised. His days are numbered, though. Diamond is so going to kill him. No spoilers, but I don't see Derrick lasting long in season 2. Let's see if he makes it past the finale. 

P-Valley should be getting more love than it is. I'm glad it's been renewed. The credits remind me a bit of The Wire's intro.

It’s not getting a lot of action here but the ratings are good for a summer show. Number 5 in Black American households on Sundays I read somewhere. 
 

Yes I’m glad it’s got a second season. It might be a sleeper like Power was.

I am mad at everyone in my life for not telling me about this show.  

By golly I'm so glad good TV is coming back.  I almost got through an entire episode of Sidechicks of Charlotte, thank you to the gang at the PYNK for pulling me back from the edge.  And yes, Keyshawn is gorgeous, I wasn't fully sold until she was in that pink outfit waiting for Lil' Mudda.

At first I wasn't sure if Clifford and Marcus would be a good fit because Marcus isn't ready to be out, but I'm really rooting for these two! I feel like they bring out such a good side in each other. You can see how gentle, thoughtful and sensitive they are when they're together. I think it really cemented for me during the dinner party at grandma's house. I just hope that the situation with Keyshawn doesn't end up hurting Clifford.
