Darren wrestles with the chaos he's unleashed. But when mercenaries set their sights on him, will Kinney be able to help?

I don't know how I felt about this being a flashback episode. I get why they did it but still. And since all it accomplished was killing Kinny, Darren, and a bunch of characters we'd never seen before, it felt like filler. Very violent exploding filler, but filler nonetheless. It also made me feel that I'm very unprepared because I don't have a switch that pulls metal covers over all my windows or a secret passageway that leads to the dock. Evie was really prepared!

There was a lot of shooting.

The plot armor was thick on Darren's dad. How many bullets do you think were in him by the end? But he kept moving! Felt bad for the publican, Frank. That's all I got.

[Dowel Jones]

Yeah, what about Evie's husband, the boat captain?  He only took 8 or 10 bullets.  By rights he should still be up and running.

Next time, hire some competent mercenaries.  Ones that can shoot straight.
