Good Challenges Over The Years

There was once a challenge which was set up like Iron Chef America.  One contestant had to cook, while the other did the play-by-play.

That took skills.

Yes, that was a good challenge.  And I also liked the one where they created a dish that went on the Red Lobster menu during Kelsey Nixon's season.   She won that one.

And that Red Lobster dish was great. I made a point to try it and it didn't disappoint.

Kelsey was awesome that season and did well in other challenges too.  She would blow this year's group away.

 

I have enjoyed the challenges where they brought in other FN stars to critique the food.  And also the Rachael Ray appearances are good,

I actually did enjoy one from this season- the one with Alex where she cooked along with their instruction.  Partly because I love her, and partly because it was a pretty effective way to test the skills of someone attempting to teach cooking on television.

I am glad that they dropped having teams for each mentor.  The challenges then were so predictable because you knew they were not going to decimate one team and leave that mentor with no one.
