ottoDbusdriver September 25, 2019 Author Share September 25, 2019 Is Harland Fried really dead ? Who knows for sure, what with the rampant cloning on this show ? Would a freshman like Pilar really be put in charge of the Armistice Day celebrations ? Seriously ? Thomas awakes on a ship full of women, led by Tierney. And finds out that she is the leader of the Hypatia syndicate -- an all-female organized crime organization that has awesome recruitment benefits. Ralen's wife is still hanging around, and Ralen seems not so happy about that. Atria freaks out when Pilar tries to enlist her for the party planning committee. Who knows why ? Are clones gala-phobic ? Turns out, yes they are -- since galas were used for naked clone shopping by rich buyers on Adar. And Atria is convinced that she can run for the office of Seeker -- which could possibly be a death sentence, but likely not. Xander and Professor-Uncle have trust issues, so Xander quits his not-so-secret CIS job so he can ask Jax to the dance. Wilhelm scream while Thomas is TKing that thug across the casino. The "fight" between Ralen and his wife was so .... bad. The Armistice Day gala didn't appear to be all that well attended. I would have expected more people -- I guess extras are expensive. Big surprise -- Harland Freed isn't dead, never saw that coming </sarcasm> And after some shenanigans with Ralen's wife, Jax gets the key to Pandora's box back, and with Xander's help, finally opens the box -- to find a nude Jax in the box, with some really, really bad CGI vapors covering her up. 1 Link to comment

The whole time I was thinking what Jax would do to Xander if she found out that Xander did not out and rescue Thomas, just so he could go on a date with Jax. Wilhelm scream while Thomas is TKing that thug across the casino. So why would Thomas go and confirm he was cheating by secretly using telepathy, by publicly using telekinesis. The "fight" between Ralen and his wife was so .... bad. I think they were trying to choreograph the fight to the music and it ended up looking more like they were dancing, instead of fighting. The Armistice Day gala didn't appear to be all that well attended. I would have expected more people -- I guess extras are expensive. Considering that it was mandatory for all the students in the school to attend, I have seen more people in the classroom and at that bar they are always hanging out in, than attended that gala. 2 Link to comment

Actually, I thought the fact that it looked like dancing was pretty cool. The set up was terrible though; Ralen says she'll never get the key from him and before he finishes the sentence she's got it. Do not taunt Happy Fun Ball. Link to comment
tv echo September 25, 2019 Share September 25, 2019 (edited) One word to describe this episode? Predictable. I guess it's Firefly's turn to be copied used for inspiration. Edited September 25, 2019 by tv echo 1 Link to comment

Well we have a wooden looking box with no cryogenics so the vapors are not frost. I don't see a water line to spray mist on her like a head of lettuce to keep it fresh like in a grocery store. So basically they shoved he in a box after one last trip to Taco Bell and that is what you get in 150 years. Xander is probably thinking he can now ditch loud pain in the ass clone version of Jax and drag the box to his room. Link to comment
