Planned to watch preview on Friday but fell asleep. Exhausted because new roommate from hell at rehab nursing home insisted on putting on her TV at 530 am and despite ear plugs and white noise app on my phone, I couldn’t get back to sleep. (I threw a fit but night staff took her side.) She left TV off Saturday AM but today it was on again at 450 am. It’s hell here, folks. I see the doctor again on Tuesday but probably still have to stay here at least a couple weeks longer if he approves weight-bearing exercises on right arm. It only goes up so far. But I am losing whatever sanity I had left. Plus the food I can eat is dwindling. Today except for eggs, they served me exclusively high sodium food I can’t eat. So it was Boost, a protein bar from Amazon, and a pear my siblings sent me. Hope my TV can drown out hers enough tonight so I can enjoy your snark!

Hi all! Hope this one won’t be boring! Still at the rehab nursing home. Mercifully no new roommate yet but the TV across the hall is blaring. Wait, are we in the middle of an episode?

Oh YUCK. She doesn’t want that sleepover and he is not listening and thinks he can dickmatize her.

So far no new roomie and PT is progressing!

So far, no new roommate! Old one is just across the hall but I haven’t seen or heard her. And my PT and OT seem pleased with my progress. Wrist cast hurts though!

We have discussed this before, and I just don’t see this happening. They don’t have the same type of face/features. Luckily for Loren.

My ex roommate must have said she needed hip surgery/ was waiting 9 months for hip surgery/ surgery surgery surgery a thousand times in 2 weeks.

So, friends, last night the maniac roommate tried to leave the rehab with her ex-boyfriend. Cops were called, screams were heard down the hall, and she left on a stretcher, bound for a mental hospital and a psychiatric assessment! Unfortunately, she returned today. Fortunately, they put her in another room! Please pray that my next roommate is better, as I am probably stuck here for another month or so. Oh, and picture a screechy harridan with a New Yawk accent who looks a lot like Coltee mom Debbie, with some of Loren’s mom thrown in!

Can’t stand her. And I don’t think she’s so gorgeous.

Kyle is SO ugly.

Refuses. They say they can’t make her. Offered me a room that was smaller and smelly and near loud area. There was false hope this weekend that she would sign herself out against médical advice so she could get her stuff from a shelter and then stay in a hotel till a dr appt, but hotels were in 300 dollar range. I would feel sorry for her if she weren’t such an obnoxious crazy person who rarely gives me a moment’s peace.
