Donald John Trump: 2016 President-Elect
atomationage replied to Notwisconsin's topic in Current Events & Politics
I thought having Melania speak for him was ridiculous. First of all, she doesn't help him with his base in any way. She's just a reminder that he's been married three times, and that he's actually a New Yorker who actually has more to do with immigrants than they have or would want to have. Some people are making something about Ivanka and Melania wearing black last night, like they were going to his funeral. Tiffany wore blue. That #TrumpBookReport thing is great, 218 so far, and there have been at least two for Making Gatsby Great again. -

Olbermann tells Drumpf to "burn in hell", "the moral equivalent of treason", "compel him to withdraw", "find enough doctors to have him declared psychiatricaly incompetent" "this nightmare, this fascist", "he must now not be given the opportunity to keep us in suspense", Donald Trump Must Withdraw. Here's Why:- 8.1k replies

Political Debates as Reality Television
atomationage replied to Notwisconsin's topic in Current Events & Politics
Vox's take on Hillary and the debates, Hillary Clinton’s 3 debate performances left the Trump campaign in ruins: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IlLFTI24Qkw Two more things. Chris Wallace, at the end of the debate, , when he said thank you and good night, made me think more of his father than him. The other thing I didn't notice last night was Drumpf mouthing thank you, which seemed to be directly at Chris Wallace. -

I didn't expect that they wouldn't be. The topics were revealed a few days ago. It looked like a list of softballs that Chris would be lobbing at Drumpf. It wasn't actually that bad, and Drumpf couldn't stick to the topic, answer the questions, or act like someone who wasn't an entitled whiny brat. -

I thought that Chris Wallace did a surprisingly good job. Drumpf considered him to be a friendly moderator, and tried to take advantage, but Chris mostly did his job well. -

I think the Drumpf paid supporters were told to go wherever CNN was. They're the Clinton News Network, you know. As soon as I saw that, I knew it was done by Steve Bannon. -

Mark Cuban said before that one of the things that threw Drumpf the most was people at the debates laughing at him. -

Maybe he saw Macbeth recently, "untimely ripped from my mother's womb", or maybe he remembers it from his school days. -

What did he say in the debate, No one treats women better than me, or no one has more respect for women than me? He sure screwed that up. If he dropped out now, would he mess up the GOP more, or would he be helping them? -

Manbaby Drumpf got schooled tonight. Hillary looked great throughout, dancing backwards in heels while smiling and making a thousand points in an hour and a half. Congratulations to Maine East, Maine South, Wellesley and Yale for providing her with a great education, and Hillary for studying so hard for all those years. You earned it, Hillary Rodham Clinton, soon to be 45th President of The United States, and our first Madam President. I live near Maine East, where over 50 languages are spoken.

PBS is calling "I'll keep you in suspense" as the quote of the night. They're all condemning Drumpf. Mark Sheilds: the strong man is a whiner. -
