  1. First, none of what you said was true. Michael wasn't swerving, and they were simply arguing. HOWEVER, it is interesting how you just gloss over the number of times Nelle grabbed the wheel while Michael was driving which DEFINITELY could have led to a fatal car crash. THEN you say that it's somehow Michael's fault that Olbrecht overpowered a guard, which distracted the driver of the transport van, who ADMITTED that he got distracted and crossed into the oncoming lane which caused the accident and yet, it STILL should be Michael's fault?! Wow. The reason it's not Michael's fault is because it wasn't Michael's fault. Period.
  2. Sbu didn't insist on coming back. He was ASKED back, and I hear he took a paycut to do it. It was very clear that BM as Jason Morgan was NOT working out, and when SBu left Y&R, and he became available, FV and TPTB asked him back. It is SO nice to have the real Jason Morgan back on screen, and I actually can enjoy BM scenes again because he's playing Drew Cain. It was painful watching him try to be Jason Morgan. As for Jason putting Sam and kids first, please. Drew didn't put Sam first AT ALL during the entire fiasco of Jason returning. It was all about him and his pain and his "loss," and correct me if I'm wrong, but has Drew had a SINGLE scene yet with Scout? So why does Jason get all the grief for not putting his kids first? Drew and Sam were as boring as all get out, and I'm fine that none of the characters - Sam, Jason or Drew - are in each other's orbits. I do wish the writers would do more with Jason than just being in every Sonny and Carly storyline. The writers have the exact same writing issue when it comes to Michael. It's like they can't write Jason or Michael without Carly and Sonny. It's stupid, but it's a WRITING issue, and one that will hopefully be corrected. All that being said, the last two storylines for Jason have not involved the mob, even though I wouldn't care at all if they did. I love the mob aspect of GH. Jason, however, spent the first part of his return hunting Peter and now he's trying to get Carly out of Ferncliff. His "enforcer" duties have been considerably curtailed as of late.
  3. Well consider me the great fool because I am 100% Team Carly and can't wait for Nelle to get her comeuppance. I am thrilled that Michael is playing her, and it's about time the writers starting writing Michael with aspects of his character (the man has killed two people and spent time in prison, afterall).
  4. Well for the same crazy reason that Jason would be willing to be with the woman who paid to have his child terrorized and then allowed said child to be kidnapped by an unstable woman who could have murdered Jake or sold him. I agree, but that was RC's insane, ridiculous crap storytelling to give RH a storyline because RC made the horrific mistake of casting him as Franco. God, what was he smoking to think that was a great idea? I'm so glad he's gone. Anna is desperate to keep Jason from bringing any harm to her son, but or course she won't tell Jason that secret because she's ashamed. So instead, she lies and manipulates, as if the truth isn't going to come out eventually. Jason isn't going to do anything with Emma around, and Anna knows it. I find it interesting that Jason has been forthcoming with information he has obtained to both Anna and Drew, and both treated him poorly. Anna is lying threw her teeth and keeping things from him even though he knows she's lying, and Drew is just an ass in general. It's not propping. It's the truth. I know many hate Jason, but what Anna said was true, and it was nice to have the writers have a character say it outloud. I have always felt that Maxie and Michael had chemistry, and they proved it yesterday. It's a bonus that Nelle's head exploded seeing them together, and I love Maxie's snark where Nelle is concerned. "You can go sit over there." LOL, loved it. I like Maxie better with Michael than with Peter. I know GH loves to have characters sleep with entire families, but it would be nice for Maxie to NOT sleep with two brothers. Besides Michael can use a Maxie in his life, and Maxie deserves a Michael who would take care of her.
  5. Drew was horrible today. He got so many things wrong, it makes me wonder what memories he is actually utilizing. First, Jason Morgan would NEVER plot relationship scams with Carly. WTF? Does he even remember who he is suppose to have been? Second, him getting in Jason's face was laughable, and his batman voice was also hysterical. Jason was more "Yeah, whatever." Also, Drew's dismissive nature regarding Sam, where he wouldn't even look at her or acknowledge her when he first found them on the deck and only looking at Jason was more caveman than "great." What's the matter? Sam isn't allowed to speak because the "men" are talking? I actually never disliked Drew, but today was the first time I saw things about him that were unlikable. Lastly, Drew doesn't think Jason has been fighting for Sam because Sam hasn't told Drew about the number of times Jason has showed up at the penthouse and other "run-ins" where Jason DID try to talk to her about their relationship. Throw in Sam not mentioning the kiss, and Drew is the one that thinks he knows everything when he's the one in the dark. Good. He's way too insecure, and Sam's constant reassuring of him and her love has gotten ridiculous. We get it already!
  6. Exactly. Jason Morgan has ALWAYS been about loving and protecting his family, and that family became Michael, Sonny, Sam, and Carly. He would never walk away from them. I know, right??!! God, if Jason doesn't worship Sam every minute of every second, he's either not worthy of her or he doesn't put her first. Please. Jason gets to be his own character too. There's a picture of Sbu that went around of him shirtless with washboard abs - VERY fit and toned. So yeah, I noticed he was thinner too, but he's in great shape. I think the looks fantastic. SBu has been doing great in his scenes, and I love the little beats that you mentioned. Some people around the boards were complaining that Sonny didn't tell him about Danny or Liz living with Franco or a dozen other things, but I want other characters to be the ones to reveal truths to him. If Sonny tells Jason everything, it takes the punch out of those secrets because the would all be out in one big episode. I like that there are still things Jason needs to find out about. I am hoping that Nelle is about to turn batshit crazy. Michael needs a good stalker/crazy ex-girlfriend storyline. God no!! Please no. There is only one version of Jason and that's SBu. BM has been playing Drew. He has never clicked for me as Jason Morgan, and I'm guessing TPTB agreed because why else ask SBu back? I didn't see any bus. Sonny has always felt a bit disconnected from BM's Jason, even before the news of SBu's return. He's said many times that BM's Jason is different, and he clearly missed HIS Jason. So naturally, he'd be thrilled that THE Jason Morgan has returned. I sure am. I think there was plenty of evidence that BM's Jason could always be written as NOT being Jason Morgan. For starters, Sam Morgan never felt a connection to him. Never. The onlly reason her feelings towards Jake Doe changed was when she was told that he was Jason, and she needed the scientific proof. Right there, I said to omyself "Well they just left the door wide open for SBu to return." It would be one thing if Sam had all these "moments" before the truth about BM's Jake came out, but she didn't. Even when they were both at the Chinese Restaurant - ZERO connection. Throw in how differently BM has played Jason with his references to pop culture, his impersonations, his silly/jokey side, his out of the blue kissing of Alexis when saying goodbye. So I don't think there are sudden red flags. They were always there, but no one ever really questioned them because they had a DNA match.
  7. Losing family and being the Captain of the Last Ship that is essentially trying to save the entire planet is stressful. Chandler had to make all the big calls, and he did it while his family was in jeopardy and while he gave orders that led to the deaths of some aboard his ship. Also, the last incident was a personal attack against Chandler. He had already lost his wife to the red flu like many others. As you stated, others lost people, but they lost them to the flu. His father was murdered and his children kidnapped in order to make sure that a coup attempt was successful. That is not normal and no one was going through that, as well as watching Tex die. Throw in that he held himself to a higher standard and ended up murdering what's-her-face, and yeah, it was a lot of stuff on his shoulders, and he needed a break. It's not like the others couldn't have taken a break too, but they didn't have to do what he did - he had to command the Last Ship in order to save the world, which is no small feat, then he had to distribute the cure, and then prevent a coup in the U.S. He succeeded in all three endeavors. Instead of enjoying victory, he then had to deal with a madwoman who wanted/needed to eliminate Chandler from the playing field. So she kidnapped his children and murdered his father, and Chandler ended up murdering her. He went against a code he lived his life by, and it shook him. Taking an 18-month break is not a lot to ask.
  8. Exactly. The writing for Jason and Sam was atrocious with both of them acting completely out of character in order to push Sam towards McBain. The only reason RC put Jason and Sam back together at the end, before SBu left, was when he heard SBu was leaving. So he threw a one to the Jasam fans. Then PPP happened (Karma baby), and he couldn't use his precious OLTL characters anymore.
  9. GH does not need OLTL and AMC characters. GH needs to use its OWN vets.
  10. Yep, tall, incredibly flexible, with great eyes.
  11. Drugging Sonny? Undressing him, letting him think he had sex with her (which is assault btw - not any different than what Franco did to Sam). Cozying up to Carly with the intentions of blowing her world apart - mission accomplished. Yeah, she qualifies as a bad girl, although trying to reform. Oh yeah!! I am SO happy. No offense to BM, but he's not Jason Morgan and doesn't have the chemistry with Kemo or any of the people that Jason loved, including Monica and Michael. Haters to the left.
  12. I am thrilled that SBu is coming back. BM has never worked in the role, and I don't think he has chemistry with Kemo at all. As for those complaining that Jason would take over the show as a character, he already is. Jason and Sam are on all the time, and so is Carly and Sonny and Julian and Alexis. The show is all about them right now for the most part.
  13. None of them worked because none of those storylines were written well, and Michael came off looking ridiculous - which is never sexy. Kiki was horrible under KA because of how she was written, and she was such an unlikable character that I couldn't understand why Michael would be with her. It made zero sense, and I like Michael/CD a lot, but I hated him with Kiki. Rosalie was never a pairing for Michael. There was potential, especially after Michael saved her and killed that guy in his apartment and Rosalie realized that MIchael wasn't the clean-cut guy she thought he was, but they put the kabosh on that relationship in favor of milquetoast Sabrina. Why? Because they didn't know what to do with TeCa after JT left the show. So Michael got saddled with the character, and then the writers (for some INSANE reason) thought it was smart to sideline Michael while TeCa was on maternity leave as if her character was more important, and then when she did come back, the ridiculous storyline was that she had willingly run off with Carols, never thought about Michael, married Carlos, but then we were suppose to believe after Carlos died that she always wanted a life with Michael. That is not about CD and everything about horrific writing. You left off the only character and relationship that Michael had that worked unbelievably well - Abby. Chad and Andrea had smoking hot chemistry, great love scenes (just watch them on YT), and her one episode appearance ended up lasting over a year because of their chemistry. So the idea that CD doesn't have romantic chemistry is completely untrue. It is all about the writing, and how they both write Michael's character and how they write his "romances." He is always the pursuer, even though he should really be a character that is terrified of love and relationships considering how many times he's been betrayed and/or lost someone tragically. He also should be jaded and aloof based on that fact. Instead, he's open to love, trusting, and the Forgiver in Chief in Port Charles. THAT is the problem with Michael, a problem that can be easily remedied if the writers had any imagination.
  14. I"ve read that Chad doesn't like shirtless scenes because he knows how fair skin he is, and doesn't have that tan, chiseled look about him, but he's a good sport. I think he looks great, and I lust after him myself sometimes. He doesn't shy away from love scenes. The problem for Chad/Michael is all about the writing. ALL OF IT. It's not that the writers don't have ideas about what to do with Michael, it's that they seem to favor the over 40 crowd to the detriment of everyone else. Now I am over 40 myself, and I love seeing Carly, Sonny, Julian, Alexis, Ava, Scott, Laura, Kevin, Bobbie, etc., but that doesn't mean that the rest of the cast should be ignored. GH spends most of their storyline time on only a handful of actors: Sonny/Carly Julian/Alexis Sam/Jason Valentin/Nina and Ava. These characters dominate everything else, and the dialogue and arguments and stories are the same. It's redundant and boring, and I think it's the main reason why the ratings are bad. Michael has a SLEW of life experiences that the writers could tap into and yet, like all their other stories, they continue to write the SAME stuff for Michael: he's kind, forgiving, loyal, and never gets mad or stays mad at anyone. Rinse. Repeat over and over until we are bored out of our minds, and Chad must be as well. I think Chad is a very talented actor, and he is sexy as hell when he is allowed to be, especially when he's being quietly dangerous or written to be smart and intuitive. Unfortunately, those types of scenes are very few and far between. Instead, he spends most of his time counseling others, forgiving everyone that ever wronged him, and being the only parent in his family. How many love stories has Sonny had over his time on GH? Michael has had ONE - ONE!!!!!!!! That was Abby. KA's Kiki was a blip and a mistake, and the writers knew it. Starr was even less memorable. Sabrina had potential as a pairng for Michael but it was completely destroyed with her baby fiasco, running off and marrying Carlos, and the "love story" never survived. The only love story that Michael ever was given, complete with a beginning, middle and tragic end was with Abby, and it was fantastic. Since that time, he has been forced into relationships rather than allowing anything to happen organically. Nelle is actually better than his past pairings because she's got the bad girl edge to her. Unfortunately, the writers have forgotten that Michael has a bad boy edge as well - far worse than anything Nelle has ever done. He's not a boy scout. Yet, he seems more pious than Father Griffin. That is just wrong, people.
  15. If I recall correctly, Remy snapped her rabbit's neck without hesitation whereas Roman couldn't do it. I DO think that Remy loved her brother, but she was selfish and controlling where he was concerned. It was all there in the flashbacks. I can't recall a single warm moment between them as Remy and Roman. That being said, Jane is a different person now and wholly loves her brother. She doesn't want to revert back to what she was, which is why she zipped Roman in the first place. She wanted him to get the fresh start she had, but his dose was much smaller. It doesn't matter to me at this point about their past since it's clear that they love each other, despite Roman's anger. I'm just hoping the writers can make Roman a compelling and sympathetic character next year and not just the new big bad. That would be very disappointing.
