  1. On the last episode, Kody made a stink about not being able to shower Robyn with affection, out of respect for the OGs. It was pointed out that he and Robyn never looked loved-up when they were alone. Today, I saw a picture of them that was taken earlier this week; he has his arm wrapped around her waist. So, either Christine's marriage liberated him, or he read what was written and decided to do something about it.

I do think that Meri, Christine & Janelle have always been more independent than Robyn.

When Kody moved in with Robyn full time, the other wives had only themselves to rely on. They had no choice but to take care of things without him. It made them independent. It was most likely when they started to realize that they didn’t really need him. It’s a proven fact that physical and emotional distance can kill love.  It takes a lot to keep loving someone that’s never around.

Janelle and Christine both seem to have their priorities skewed.

For Janelle, it should have been the forced move to Flagstaff ignoring Gabe's prospects of scholarships (both academic and athletic) for the sake of helicopter mom, Robyn.

Before Covid, I can’t think of a time or instance when Janelle put her children first.  When it comes to polygamy, Janelle who was born LDS, is the biggest Kool-Aid drinker.   I lost all respect for her when she pulled Gabe out of his final year in High School to follow Kody who was following Robyn who was following her son to college in Arizona.  Robyn would never in a million years allow one of Janelle’s kids to dictate where she lives.

  4. Kody has one wife that he really loves and the last thing he wants is to lose her respect.  So, in order to not lose her respect, he is willing to go along with whatever she wants.  What a condescendingly swell guy!

Kody says a lot of things in his TH's that he never says aloud to the people who need to hear what he's thinking. Meri in particular. But Janelle, too.

They will see it on TV.  Hence why Meri finally pulled the plug.

I think Robyn understands that she can manipulate better one-on-one. Outnumbered by other sane people she's at a disadvantage. Meri isn't happy with Robyn now - she was present but not involved.

I believe Robyn has passive-aggressively set Kody up to fail in his other relationships. For example, after Christine left, Kody flipped out on Janelle and threw a tantrum.  He recognized his lousy behavior and apologized.  Robyn immediately swooped in and assured him that he was justified in doing exactly what he did. Thus, ensuring that his derangement continued.

  7. Based on her actions, it was crystal clear that Robyn lacked genuine interest in Kody’s relationship with Meri.  So, seeing her wring her hand about the state of said relationship is laughable.  She knows Kody and Meri have been struggling for over a decade.  She knows Meri is unhappy in a non-functioning marriage, so why doesn’t she want her to move on?  I can’t help but wonder why Robyn didn’t beg Janelle to hold on.  I noticed she didn’t include her in the “rebuilding” conversation.

  8. "I feel tricked" says the woman who climbed over the backs of three timid women to become the legal wife and now lives in a $890,000 mansion complete with a nanny.  How I wish someone would have tricked me like that.
