Was wondering when the sibs were finally going to come to their senses regarding that troublemaking witch. Waiting for Ethan to come to his.

The other reason Kody is upset it that it brings the gravy train of his dream show showcasing polygamy one step closer to derailing. Chug chug, Kody.
Poor Kody! He is finally coming to the startling realization that the world doesn’t revolve around him. Imagine that.

Janelle's revelations about her finances were scary. I guess she's not as smart as we thought.
I like Janelle. She appears to be a good person. However, I don’t agree with her decisions of sacrificing and putting the family’s wants and needs above hers and her kids. It pained me when one of Robyn’s daughters (I simply don't care enough about them to tell them apart) visited the trailer and embarrassed Savanah by pointing at the dog’s bed and asking her if that is where she sleeps. Not to mention, using the inheritance from her father and funds from her 401K to buy the house in Lehi, and adding Kody and Meri to the deed. After the move to Flagstaff, I can still see the startled look on her face when Robyn announced that her assets were to go to her kids. At least Christine had the good sense to make sure she walked away with the proceeds from the sales of her homes in Las Vegas and Flagstaff. Janelle was always known as the "smart one", but I am starting to wonder.

I can't get over how furious Kody was with Janelle for not putting Garrison and Gabe in the streets. If it were up to him, they would be "lost boys". And yet, he doesn't understand why they don't want anything to do with him. In the meantime, Dayton is safely ensconced in his own suite at his mother's house. Make this make sense.

“I am a smart woman and I have done this very dumb thing.” Hearing Janelle utter those words broke my heart. After 29 years, she has nothing to show, while Robyn is sitting pretty in a $900,000 five-bedroom mansion. Janelle is low maintenance and extremely patient. She never asked for much, which was why Kody took her for granted. When you are repeatedly taken advantage of, at some point you become complicit.

Meri is the voice of reason. Who wooda thunk it? I am starting to see her in a different light.

Hey Kody, you were never the "Head of Christine's family" because you were never around.

My heart goes out to Janelle, but she should have seen this coming. The first clue was when they moved to Flagstaff and Robyn announced that her assets were for her kids.

I am enjoying watching a man who is used to controlling women lose control.

Yes Janelle. Kody believes Robyn is the paragon of virtue and perfection.

Since Meri was likely also divorced by this time she has no reason to cover anymore.
I like this Meri.
Meri doesn't seem to have any fvcks to give. I've noticed that she is now speaking a little kinder about Christine and criticizing Robyn and Kody.

In hindsight, Kody now knows he could have responded better to Christine when she said she hated polygamy. That 2020 hindsight can be a bitch.

For someone who never loved Christine, Kody is sure taking this hard. This is what happens when you take someone for granted.

I can’t believe Mykelti is out here making excuses as to why her father so gleefully took Aurora to get her ears pierced. Especially since the father-daughter outing between Kody and Aurora is not something she and her sisters have for a memory. She said, "I was hoping the network wouldn't air the clips, because I knew it would be hurtful to my sisters." She went on to say, “he probably wanted these scenes included because of the stand the church takes regarding pierced ears.” That is a load of bull, and she knows it. Now I understand why she wasn’t allowed to do the couch interviews with the other teens.

I don't think that's it. I think Robyn does want her kids to have a relationship with their siblings. But I think she is so convinced that the other kids are going to mistreat hers that she is hyper-vigilant and controlling whenever there is interaction.
In Season 9, when the family visited Alaska, Garrison observed that King Sol was hitting and biting. Instead of him being reprimanded, he was coddled. Somehow Meri managed to turn the situation around and made Garrison the instigator and King Sol the victim. One of the many reasons why I have never been a Meri fan.

I seriously was watching that thinking, "Is he that dumb? Or is this a passive aggressive 'fuck you' to all the others?"
Every time I think Kody can’t sink any lower, he proves me wrong. Gleefully taking Aurora to get her ears pierce as an FU to his biological daughters is a new low, even for him. I feel for Yzzy. Seeing this and knowing that when she was having major surgery, her dad didn't have two fvcks to give, must be heartbreaking. If her stepsiblings shun her, Aurora knows who to blame.

The fact that Nicola is such a pill makes Meisha look normal. She's got her own issues, so that's going to limit her choices.
The fact that Meisha is with Nicola tells me that there is something wrong with her. He is unattractive and unemployed. Quite a catch. In the meantime, just because she is a divorcee, in his mind she is like the "Whore of Babylon." "My family will never accept you." He seemed upset that his family did indeed accept her.

I am confused about the timeline. I was under the impression that they were talking about Thanksgiving 2022. I mean most of the other reality shows (Outdaughtered, Housewives) are now celebrating Christmas 2022. At this rate, we should see Janelle and Meri leaving Kody, Logan's wedding and the births of the new grandbabies in 2025. Seems to me that this season and the next (if there is one) will just be rehashes of what we already know.

Robyn said that she is unsure whether she was blind to the truth about the family's relationship or naïve. She believes she was misled. Can't help but wonder by whom. Janelle said that once she entered the family there was a shakeup and things never settled again. Christine revealed that the family traditions and the family getting together stopped. Meri, her closest ally, admitted the entire family’s relationship was good and fun before she came along, and that they used to laugh a lot. How could she not notice that things had changed, and what was the common denominator?
Is it my imagination or has Meri done a 180 on Christine and Robyn in her new talking heads?

If she is *divorced*, and can't get an annulment, they can't be married in the Catholic church. That would be a pretty big deal for Nicola, so either there's something not being disclosed here, or they really can't be planning to marry. His mom did look shocked when they announced that.
Let me see if I understand this. Nicola's family will not accept Meisha because she is a divorcee with two children. Even though he is a 46-year-old unattractive man who is unemployed and broke, they are expecting him to marry a 24-year-old virgin. Okay. Got it.
Can't believe Dempsey fell for Statler's "no one has ever wanted me" bull crap. Lots of people are adopted and go on to live happy, healthy, normal lives.

I can’t believe Robyn has the gall to say she was blindsided and didn’t see the split between Kody and Christine coming. Christine had a hard time hiding her feelings and she clearly saw that Kody favored Robyn and her kids above all others. For example: the first three wives each brought a tradition that was very special to them to the family. For Christine, it was celebrating Joseph Smith’s birthday. The very first year after Robyn joined the family, she told Kody she wouldn’t be celebrating it and just like that it was no longer a part of their tradition. Like Janelle said, when Robyn came into the family, she changed the dynamic.

I can't believe Kody said that he didn't want to see Christine because he wanted to spend time hating her. What a petty, little man. Love how happy Christine was at the thought that she is not married to him anymore.

Meri does not seem to be convinced by Robyn's argument.
Meri seems to have Robyn's number. Afterall, this is the same woman who talked her into divorcing her husband, so that she would be the legal wife.

So, Robyn is blaming the other wives for squashing her dreams and the life she wanted for her kids. This woman would have the others suffer so that she can live her fantasy life. Perhaps she should have encouraged Kody to foster a better relationship with his other wives and kids, instead of grabbing everything for herself and her kids.

Is this Christmas 2021 or 2022? I am so confused.
