Cesar does not know how to weld. Cesar only thinks he knows how to weld.

So Group 2 doesn't have Danny, their tour guide, to help them navigate this week. And they're already lost.

Instaget FJ for me tonight.
I also got the TS of Total Recall, Civil Disobedience, Komodo, Hawthorne, and France. France was a total guess.

Oh yeah. We didn't bother mom unless bones were broken or we needed stitches.

Some of the recaps of The Amazing Race that Linda Holmes wrote were things of beauty.

Add me to the Wells Fargo list. Jewelry didn't occur to me, either.
TS I got include coefficient, dancing, Ken Kesey, and United Negro College Fund. I should have gotten CERN, but it didn't make it from my brain to my mouth in time.
Congrats to Mark, as Nam was equally annoying with his intro tonight -- I'm not sure what his first gesture was, but it almost looked like he was flipping us off!

I didn't even have a guess for FJ. And I feel like my non-answer was still a better answer than Sylvia Plath!
The only TS I got were Jon Cryer and Generalissimo, which was a total guess.
I wanted Marko! to win. Nam annoyed me from the opening.

Antibacterial soap causes the skin to dry a lot more than regular soap.
Plus ordinary soap has antibacterial properties already. No need to add extra chemicals.

I've started reading James, and was about to quit* and throw it across the room at Chapter 9, when they were "baling water" out of the canoe -- repeatedly. I don't believe it was a deliberate error, and I can't believe that Mr. Everett doesn't know the difference between baling and bailing. so I'm mad at his editors and proofreaders. Such an easy error to fix!
*Of course I'm not going to quit an otherwise (so far) excellent book because of one repeated, egregious error. I would quit a mediocre or bad book because of it, though.
But I still want to know how, exactly, does one "bale" water.

Yeah, I'm going to take a dip in the North Sea during a spring that I hear isn't actually happening yet. :)
You never know! I know people who scuba dive in the polar regions (Antarctica! Iceland!), and other people who do swim in the North Sea. I am not one of them, mind you, but there are crazy people who do.

The newer but heavier ones, or the lighter ones with a bit more give?
I prefer to wear lighter shoes on the plane, but if space is an issue in your bag, wear the heavier ones.
I have Raynaud's, so I'd take a pair of light gloves, too.
What about swimwear?
Have a great trip!

Where are you going? Do you have a rain jacket? Phone/device chargers? Adapter for electricity (because the world can't agree on electricity -- I have so many adapters!)? Hairbrush or comb?

Tonight's help on the puzzle did seem excessive; last week, a quick "look at the colors of the wheels" was enough help.
A quick "look at the colors of the wheels" as you're leaving the challenge is vastly different from, "hey, sit over there and rest while I do your challenge for you."
Or what @Netfoot said.

Instaget FJ for me tonight.
I also got the TS of Gila River, Twelfth Night, Our Lips Are Sealed, mingle, and nosy. I said on-demand water heater instead of tankless, so I need a judge's ruling on whether or not that would have been accepted.

I got James from the library today. I can't wait to start reading it later!

Arkansas never occurred to me. I started with the East coast and the beginning of the alphabet, and got to the correct state with plenty of time to write it down. Oooh, it's an asterisk! But it wasn't an instaget.
I also got the TS of Rio de Janeiro, Viola Davis, Jessica Chastain, and Laura Linney.

"I don't like to turn on the lights, it attracts people." Ha. Darlene's boss was such a caricature - "Mary Todd Lincoln's older, crazier sister" - but she made me laugh anyway.
That's Darlene in a few years.

To me, there is a difference between collaborating with, helping, and outright doing a task for another team.
Collaboration, sure. Helping, eh, not a fan, but it's way better than outright doing the task. Why did Angie even bother to get in the race car if Amber was just going to do the puzzle for her?

But standing next to an opponent and just giving them the solution to the puzzle should get a four-hour penalty.
And another one for the beef.
