  1. Aw, that was nice.  I love Tunde and his moustache.  I think I prefer Abishola's braids, but I get why she'd prefer a shorter style, especially if she's a pediatrician.  Not a fan at all of Dele's look.

I guess Christine named her daughter Maxine in honor of her father?

But what the hell with Chukwuemeka helping Kemi with a food truck?  I can see Kemi with the food truck, but Chukwuemeka is a pharmacist!  Why is he not at the pharmacy?  Did I miss something in an earlier episode about them wanting a food truck?  Kemi seemed extra shrewish, too.  Probably from living with her mother-in-law.

I did like all the flashbacks  while Bob and Abishola were on their bench.  Bob was almost unrecognizable -- Billy Gardell has changed a LOT.

A question for y’all. At the end of today’s episode, Ken said Jeopardy Masters is coming up on this abc station. It seemed seamless, but it must have been customized based on the station, right?  Anyone who watches J! on a non-abc station, what did you hear at the end of the episode?

I wondered about that too.  I'm not at home, where I watch on a CBS affiliate, so I don't know.  I watched tonight on an ABC affiliate.

  3. I could picture the uniforms referenced in FJ in my head, and knew they guarded the Pope, but could not for the life of me come up with the name.  Boo, hiss.

But I did get the TS of Minnesota, F. W, De Klerk, P. T. Barnum (thank you, The Greatest Showman), Madam Secretary, Inspector Gadget, and Temple.

Some friends and I went to an Orioles home game about 10 years ago and got lost trying to get to I-95 afterwards.  At one point we passed a group of such ladies on a corner near the Block.  The driver, annoyed at his wife's suggestion to stop and ask for directions, mockingly suggested we ask them.  Thing is, they'd probably would've known, although they'd have charged us for the info, I'm sure.

Can you take the card back to where you bought it? Can't they check to see if the scratched out code indicates whether or not it's been already used? 🤞🍀 we're both not out $50.

I can try -- it doesn't hurt to ask, but I suspect I'm screwed.  I'm not sure I even still have the activation receipt.  <sigh>

  6. Dammit.  I bought a gift card without checking it first, and of course the code has already been scratched off.  Not just the silver on top of the code, but parts of the code are actually not legible.  It's completely wrecked, I'm out fifty bucks, and it's my own damn fault.

As for roundabouts, most countries use them rather than stop lights where possible as it keeps the traffic moving more freely under normal conditions

And then there were the really big roundabouts I encountered in England (near London) that had stoplights so people could get in and out of them.  There was so much traffic, and no one was going to let you in or out.

  8. I kind of like to think that Art and Patrick reconcile, compare notes, realize just how cold and manipulative Tashi is, and kick her to the curb.  I question any affection she claims to have for either Art or Patrick.

I have nothing but admiration for Zendaya.  I feel like she has chosen her roles well, and she seems well-adjusted, having made the leap from child star to adult actor.  And yes, she can wear the hell out of just about any outfit.

  9. I never in a million years would have figured out FJ.  I had no idea there were any other lyrics besides, "Hey, Macarena!"  I actively avoid that ear worm -- I'd rather have Edmund Fitgerald haunting my brain.

I did get some TS, though, including Hermitage, ewer, John Donne, Robert Frost, and bedspread.

Why was the crew in a separate car anyway?

Those cars were barely big enough for the teams and their backpacks, much less two more people with camera and sound equipment!  I don't think the cars even had backseats, did they?  Seemed like an open-ish area where they put their bags.

  11. It can be surprisingly easy to lose a car that's supposed to be following you.  Maybe there's heavy traffic and the following car gets cut off, losing sight of the leading car.  Or maybe the leading car makes a red light that catches the following car.  Or maybe the leading car takes an unexpected exit from a roundabout and the following car can't get over in time to take the same exit and has to go around again (hey kids, there's Big Ben!).  Or maybe, as happened to me once, a similar car is near the leading car, and the following car follows the wrong car.

I do hope Angie and Danny address it -- did their crew continue to look for them after getting separated?  Seems like the best option would have been just to go straight to the next task instead of wandering around.  It was interesting, too, that Danny couldn't get the crew to respond on the Walkie Talkie, but I don't know what kind of range that kind has.

Traveling solo has been my norm and it's my preference. I could travel with someone else but only if we have our own rooms. I don't want to be with people 24 hours a day, even people I like.

Same.  I generally tell people I don't share well, and must have my own bathroom.

Second and related somewhat to Nuts.com - ever since my crown fell out I have had to lay off eating nuts which I normally have with dinner.  My dentist did a great job of temporarily cementing the loose crown, but I have to go back to him to have a new temp put on next week and it will probably be another 2 weeks after that to get the permanent one.  I do miss my crunchy nuts, oh well.  At least it doesn't hurt.

Can you chew the nuts on the other side of your mouth?
