Chuck Lorre isn't afraid to remove and add/expand characters when they don't work (or do, as the case may be). I'm thinking about Christy's kids in Mom or the Bernadette and Amy on Big Bang. I wouldn't be surprised to see a bit of retooling if we get a 2nd season. I'd like to see more of both workplaces (the 2 Nigerian workers at Bob's and the friends at Abishola's) and less of Bob's family. Abishola's family can stay. And it feels like he has some long-term stuff in place for Abishola's son, which I'm looking forward to.

Wow. Maybe it's camera angles, but some of them look like the largest people we've ever seen on this show. And "Eat death, Lindsay!" is quite the sound bite.

I adore Eddie. He's so much more charming when he's just chatting on his own with the contestants than when he's "on script." I suspect that he's gotten notes from FN execs about staying on script because of the word choice/grammar issues that sometimes creep into his off the cuff remarks. I wish they'd give him more freedom to just be himself.

One thing that's making me feel better about all of this is Rena's FB page, where she has several fairly recent photos that look like her weight loss is still on track, plus a couple of posts about her uncle's new Keto Zone businesses, which make me think her family may be supporting her and/or getting into a low-protein lifestyle. BTW, I have no idea why I feel so invested in Rena right now beyond my blinding hatred for the semi-sentient beanbag (TM someone funny in the live thread).

So this is interesting and potentially very depressing. Popculture.com says that Rena posted this to her FB page in "late May": They got the info from this article in Starcasm which says a few days later Lee posted he was in a new relationship: All of this would have happened well after the episode was filmed. So.... I had to go check their FB pages. Rena's still says she's single. I don't see the breakup post but that may be because she only shared it with friends. So here's the heartbreaker. 9 hours ago, Lee posted this status update: I can only hope he's lying to save face but I'm kind of afraid he isn't 😞
