Latest spoiler from TVLine: No idea. Maybe the hunters have a group? I'm always wary of "mysterious" groups on shows, though. TVD, in particular, doesn't have a great track record with them in my opinion.

Sneak peek featuring Bonnie and Enzo:

Valerie is cracking me up in that she seems way more interested in antagonizing Caroline than she does in getting together with Stefan.

As was mentioned upthread, I'd also forgotten that the heretics were Geminis so I was completely confused as to how Valerie knew what was going on with the babies. Although he managed to wipe out pretty much the entire coven, I'm still a teensy bit annoyed on Kai's behalf that not only was the Sleeping Beauty curse someone else's idea, but that a bunch of dying mumblers managed to save the next generation. The Bonnie/Enzo thing is just a little too out of nowhere for me. Not that long ago Enzo was assisting in the kidnapping of one of her friends. Whatevs, Lorenzo, let me help you with your tie while I make googly eyes at you. Lily's party was too funny. Yes, everything will go great when you invite a bunch of people who dislike each other to an event filled with a bunch of people who are only there because they've been compelled. Roaring good time!

Description for 7x08: According to the spoilers, Stefan is supposed to die in 7x07 and be sent to hell. If that holds, then his trip to hell doesn't last very long. If the death/hell part is correct, I'm guessing the episode is just wrong as an upcoming episode titles list shows that 7x10 is called "Hell is Other People."

We still haven't see Matt in a flash forward, have we? I'm starting to seriously worry about him. Don't be sassing the Heretics, Matty. I want you to live! The Alaric/Caroline thing is just too weird. Pregnancy? Okay, show. Engaged? Well, that's just too far! So many pairings coming out of left field. There's something about the way Damon said "fiancee" though that had made wondering if it's just for show. I really don't understand why Lily's "children" bother with her. Errand boy Beau is the only one that seems happy with the way things are. What's the incentive for Mary-Louise and Nora to be sticking around at this point? Looks like Daddy Julian being back will shake that up a bit, which is good because it doesn't make sense.

My favorite part of this was the assumption that any of them would live for 60 years, vampires or not. Yeah, Caroline, I'll talk to you later! BRB, Damon! I mean, they live in Mystic Falls. Good chance Elena will wake up and no one will be left. Honestly, I would kind of love it if the show ended that way. Just Elena and a bunch of diaries.

Producers preview shows that Valerie gets involved in the Alaric/Jo storyline. As much as I dislike Steroline and enjoy Valerie driving a wedge into the relationship, I'm hoping she's not the reason Caroline ends up carrying the twins unless Caroline willingly goes along with it. I think the spoiler said it was Jo's dad, but if he did it before he died, then Caroline should be pregnant already. I suppose Jo's dad could have done something and Valerie will help it along. Guess we'll find out soon enough!

I'm not at all invested in Bamon. Couldn't care less at this point. I'm just saying that what you quoted there re: bourbon and suicide does not play at all to me as them being so fed up with each other that they'd rather kill themselves than be around each other forever. That's just ridiculous. They were stuck in 1994 and didn't have much hope of getting out. Just repeating the same stuff over and over again thinking that they'd never get to see the people they cared about again. That's a lot for anyone to take. I'd have been surprised if one or the other of them hadn't contemplated suicide at some point. And it wasn't until Bonnie was all by herself that it ever really became a serious threat. None of this is me looking for a deeper meaning. It's pretty much what we saw on the screen. ETA: I've liked the Bonnie character since Day 1. Part of the reason why I can't stand Caroline anymore is because she really doesn't have much to do outside of Stefan. Even her mom dying got turned into the Stefan show. I like that Bonnie and Damon are friends because it gets her more screen-time, but I dislike it as well because I want her to have her own story. And I don't count pairing her off with that bozo, Enzo, as getting her own story. The writers have done a really poor job of integrating Enzo and I don't want Bonnie getting sidelined again. Part of why I want more witches and/or Bennetts.

He did promise Valerie he wouldn't tell anyone, right? I don't know that I would have made that promise, but if I did, I wouldn't break it to tell the girlfriend I've been seeing for all of 5 minutes. That and it's Caroline. She's not exactly what I'd consider to be mature. Of course, the reality is that he's not telling her because it creates drama. Tired drama, but that's what the writers excel at so...

I thought about it and that's a rather twisted reading of the situation. That's all I'm going to say in order to avoid some long drawn out discussion about it because people have clearly made up their minds one way or the other. In other news, I really wish Bonnie could get some witchy friends or, at least, a mentor. Aside from her relatives, the witches on this show pretty much suck. Gemini Coven? Heretics? We can do better than that! And how powerful is Bonnie at this point? Sometimes she's the Big Witch on Campus, but more often than not, she seems to just be sticking with her headache inducing routine.

I just don't want Bonnie to be dead (again!) 3 years from now. Not on board with Enzo as her love interest, but that's better than her body being jacked by freaking Lily. And why would Damon be okay with Mommy Dearest inhabiting the body of one of his BFF's? He's just gonna go to sleep for 60 years and let that happen? Given that Damon appears to be on the outs with his other BFF in the future, maybe that's the case. Sigh.

I just realized that I have no idea what the black heretic's name is. I'm sure they've given him one although I'm not going to bother to look it up because I'm sure he'll be dead soon enough.

If she's taken over Bonnie's body, then who would Lily be crying about during the group session? Julian? Because then making out with Enzo makes no sense. Stefan or Damon? Haha. Mother of the year she is not. And she doesn't use the plural so I'm guessing it wouldn't be her heretic children either. And for it to just be one of them also doesn't really jive. And because I'm totally grasping at anything that will mean we are not still stuck with Lily and especially not in Bonnie's body: There appears to be a photo collage on the wall behind Bonnie during the kiss scene. Lily doesn't strike me as the collage kind. But maybe it's just a painting. I'll just be over here clutching my straws.

Nooooooooooooooo! Perish the thought! And future Bonnie (assuming she's actually Bonnie) says she lost someone she loved. Who could that be? Have we seen Matt in any of the flash forwards? Everyone else seems to be present and accounted for. I'm just going to ignore Bonnie/Enzo. The present-day interactions seemed way forced and the future kiss was just awkward.

Enzo is so freaking stupid. Clearly, Bon Bon only falls for him after becoming an alcoholic like her besties. Lily cannot die soon enough. I'm more interested in Stefan/Valerie than I am in Stefan/Caroline. Caroline just bugs me. And for the love of Jeebus can we please stop hearing about Elena!

Finally got around to watching this episode. Ugh, Stefan/Caroline is really dragging this show down for me. Caroline's insecurity is typical, but beyond annoying at this point. Team Valerie! And even though it means more screen time for Bonnie, Alaric's raising the dead storyline can get outta here as well. I couldn't stand Alaric/Jo and was seriously happy that Kai killed her off so I'm not pleased that she's back in any capacity. Bright spots: Bonnie/Damon/Alaric! 100% over this crap Matt. Tyler rolling off with Elena's casket.

Since when do Caroline and Bonnie know each other?!? That was cute -- I'd definitely like to keep seeing these two together. I'm way more interested in the friendships between various characters than in all the romantic drama.

Not that I want Caroline carrying anybody's babies at this point, but it would be a much more entertaining train wreck if Caroline were stuck with Stefan and Valerie's baby and not the Jo/Alaric twins.

Yeah, it's supposed to be episode 5. I read somewhere that we're getting flash forwards in most of the episodes. And it does look like they going to stick Bonnie with Enzo. Here's a quote from a recent interview with Michael Malarkey: Ugh. Why is Enzo even still around? Still holding out hope that the pregnancy spoilers aren't legit because, well, more ugh.
