  1. If anyone is in Canada, all three seasons are on CBC Gem. I love this show so much.
  2. In all fairness.....does it look like that guy has good breath?
  3. The only thing is, a lot of new mothers who say things like that are dealing with postpartum depression or anxiety, if not worse. It's easy to just say your son should grow balls and stop her - that's glossing over a lot of real issues that the mother might be dealing with. Pao might be a bitch, but that doesn't make her immune to these issues. She was having trouble letting Russ hold the baby, for example. But when we've seen how she's treated Russ long before any pregnancy, it's hard to say... but I think it's at least worth keeping in mind there could be more going on here psychologically. That said, she and her mom are awful for putting up with Juan's comments.
  4. Seemed as reasonable an explanation as anything else, since she's been shown many times on the show and never seems to wear makeup, and again, it was Halloween. I thought I saw her hair different too, and she was wearing those Lennon glasses. She seems like a decent enough of a person to give her the benefit of the doubt, anyway.
  5. Oh come on, it was Halloween. She was trying to be a hippy or something, with that white peasant top. She just - like a lot of women I know who aren't too confident in their bodies including myself a few times - was doing most of her costume with exaggerated makeup and not so much with the actual clothing. Only then you use your own clothing or something else simple and then no one even realizes you're in costume and just thinks your makeup is over the top or, in her case, absolutely terrible. Only at this point, I just gave up, got depressed, washed it off and stayed home, so props to her for not doing that, I guess? edit: I want it known that nothing I ever tried looked like that though.
  6. "“From seeing the best and the worst in the industry and experiencing it as well, it has me wanting to pursue and achieve the best in education to help men and women from trauma scenarios to reconstructive and aesthetic surgeries.”" Can you imagine how awful it would be to have her as the one you have to show what can be both physically and emotionally painful bodily imperfections? Ignore all of the million reasons she would be a horrible plastic surgeon/any form of medical professional down to the high school volunteers who bring the book cart around to patients' rooms in the hospital. I just can't imagine what kind of hurtful things she'd say. She has this weird lack of social intelligence where she doesn't realize what reactions she gets, or doesn't care, or something. Even if you ignore every other issue of hers, she'd be horrible. Just thinking about showing her or someone like her the scars on my body makes me nauseous.
  7. Seriously, I couldn't believe that! Not only does the poor kid have a really embarrassing scene on international tv, (it always bugs me when everyone says it's "national television" - don't Americans realize their shows are broadcast across the world?) but her parents didn't seem to show any urgency at all to help clean her up. It makes me wonder if Gary's new kid will end up with terrible diaper rash, though in all fairness, Kristina seems like she's a loving, competent mother. Gary asked her in the car if she told the teacher and Leah said she didn't. Now this would be worth watching. I'll feel so badly for Catelynn if Brandon and Theresa cut off all contact with Carly, but Tyler is such a complete jackass, I don't blame them in the least. I get his self esteem is completely wrapped up in being her birthfather, and his entire life is based around being a social media/reality celebrity, but someone has got to stick a pin in his ballooning ego. Only he has such obvious and ever increasing anger issues, I'd be pretty concerned if I were the person doing it. But someone has got to do it before all this show is is his giant gaping asshole*. *just in time for Farrah!
  8. In all fairness, who'd want to deal with correcting her? Ugh, can you imagine how miserable it would be to have Farrah as your student? You know there'd be a huge blowout when she gets her first assignment back with a bunch of red marks all over it. Though I will say that she did seem to finish her culinary management class well and without issue, and didn't she do some further education beyond that?
  9. Are you kidding me? With the ages the community marries at, it probably is entirely true. Also, it just occured to me that it might just be referring to events like that one seasons ago, with I think the Smalls family gettogether. There was the matriarch and her daughters and daughters in law and maybe other family members, and Sondra Celli made each of them a dress.
  10. Actually, one thing I noticed is that all of her compliments about Sophia were about her appearance. She's called cute, over and over, and some other things I don't remember and certainly am not going to rewatch the show to quote them. But besides some baby talk names like "huggable bubble" or "baby boo", that's all Farrah or her parents say about Sophia. Never that she's smart or creative or active or just anything at all except attractive. Also, and I realize how ridiculous it is to follow that comment up with something about Sophia's appearance, but was it just me or did she seem to be frowning or something a lot of the time? I don't really remember her looking really happy for much of it.
