You took the words right out of my un typed hands...lol. It will never happen. The next episode is a photoshoot and a trip to an aquarium it looks like. I think they want to keep up this perfect picture life of not needing help and doing everything independently. I've said it before but I don't think that Bill thinks he is a little person, I think he thinks he's just a short man. It would be interesting to see Jen taking the kids out alone, which I feel is not even possible but how she does it. We have yet to see her take either child out alone if I think back. She said she was having a mommy Will day but her mom came along and she conveniently stated that Jen didn't need her to come along, which basically means she needs her to come along. We have seen her with Zoey alone but with Bill dropping them off and you just see them out of the car. Any other time Nai Nai always comes along. Oh oh I have to put this in here, do you remember when they had Will and were going to Florida to visit Bills family but before they left there was an event for the pet store. During that episode Jen went off with Will alone, well with the camera person and Will had a meltdown because he wanted to go near the cars in the parking garage and Jen could barely hold on to him. I watch the episodes several times and I noticed that I saw Jens dad in the corner of the screen or trying to hide several times while she was "alone" with Will. He was with her the entire time and what is wrong with letting us know this. Do they think it makes them weak to need help?

This was another good episode but all we see are activities. It's like can you not show off how privileged you are and financially blessed you are. It also seems as though they want to constantly have things for the kids to do to be occupied. I am not a parent but as a child my parents let us venture off in our rooms or the playroom to explore and not have every moment with mommy and daddy, that is how my sister and I became independent and didn't need them for direction to have fun. Also, as Jen and her mom were counting the $ from the garage sale it looked like they made more than Bill's fashion show if he only made a few thousand dollars.

I took notice that she wasn't complimenting the ice princess, she was telling her she "wanted" everything. Bill said, oh she liked this and she liked that. Uhhhh no she wanted this and that and probably expected to get it. She's getting a little spoiled and with her "moodiness" she knows exactly how to get what she wants. She is going to be a terror.

The Human Beings Known as the Arnold-Klein Family

That is true and I remember that as well, but maybe I'm comparing the Roloffs involvement and how outspoken they were about it and being on the board and actually their participation so that Zach, their only little person child could meet other little people. I remember in an episode years ago Jen stating that because of school and how busy she was she didn't have time to attend LPA conventions and that they were only dances and not really what she was interested in as a young adult. I thought this was really strange at the time. I still think it's odd that we have never seen any of their little people friends but she's said in reference to having kids that some of her friends that are smaller than she have had successful pregnancies. I just hope that they allow Will and Zoey to attend the conventions if they show interest. I believe Will and Zoey will be more athletic as to where Bill and Jen were not and the LPA provides fair participation in all sports without risk of getting hurt. I think that their parents didn't want Bill and Jen to feel anymore different than they already did so they didn't encourage going. But also dealing with 30+ surgeries would make going to conventions low on their priority list as well. -
Did anyone notice when Jen was talking about her parents moving and stating that it was something they had talked about since she's known them. I thought that was odd to make that statement about your parents. Maybe since I was a child or as far back as I can remember they have wanted to retire on the water in Florida. Also she stated that Bill called or texted her to get Zoey's hair cut in the pixie and she said she had never thought of that, but previously on the episode getting haircuts Bill clearly stated he wanted her to get the pixie. So it had been thought of already. I don't know if it's filmed not in order or she just says things to say them not really realizing they may contradict what she said previously. I think Jens parents were planning on staying forever, Jens dad had said that he didn't feel as though Florida was home anymore since Jen and their son weren't living there. I truly think Judy doesn't like it and thinking that a baby would be coming by surrogacy, they were prepared to stay for many years to help. They have a nanny and I'm sure friends that can step in to help when needed. It was also clear they didn't show her getting shots on camera since her pants had to be pulled down. But I noticed she wasn't sweaty as she usually gets, so maybe it wasn't that bad for her. I missed the projects that have been mentioned as fails by other comments. The whole ear piercing debate is basically up to the parents but I got my ears pierced at 2 and I believe it was the worst thing my mom could have done to me. Either do it to a baby or wait and let your preteen decide. And in 1976 they didn't do them at the same time. The hair is cute on this episode but it continues to get shorter and it looks more edgy and I just don't like it at all. I believe at some point Wills hair is longer than Zoey's, which is weird to me. I loved this episode as well and I must say I am just enjoying all of the shows thus far and I'm sure because it's focusing more on how the kids are growing and learning and are so darn smart.

Jen has posted pics of Will and Zoey on her Instagram and I hate to say it but I think it's horrible and I know you don't talk about kids, but I'm directing it towards the parents in this instance. It almost edgy which is IMO not appropriate for a 4 year old.
-
During the building of the home, having children was already in the works so they knew the kids would be upstairs and they would be down. The difference IMO, is that an average sized person can run up the stairs if there would be a fire in the kitchen to get the kids it would take Jen and and Bill awhile to get up and back down again. The Roloffs master was downstairs and the kids were up but 3 of the four are average size a major difference when dealing with safety. I'm average and I wouldn't feel comfortable with my kids that young being on a different floor.
-
So sorry for your husbands loss. That is my fear with Will, I truly believe he will put Zoe's safety before his own and become so concerned if he calls for her and she doesn't answer that he will go look for her. I don't think there is anyway he would leave that house without her. I think they need to kinda lie to him to let him know she will be ok just do what we tell you and she will do the same.

. I doubt they go swimming anywhere else. It seems they only swim in the pool at lessons. Jen said that she was glad she was there so she could see their progress from their last lesson, which makes me think do they even swim at all in the pool except at lessons. I know Jen can't swim but hopefully Bill can but he can't reach the bottom, I don't think. The water seems to come to Jarrods waist but maybe that is at Bills neck. As active as Will is in the pool I wouldn't feel comfortable as a slower little person to be alone with him in case of an emergency. Jarrod would be talking to Will and Will will just jump or fall into the water and swim off, Jarrod can get to him rather quickly if need be, Bill not so much. I thought he called her stupid, she tried to say he said something was stupid or somebody was stupid but not her. I think she should have addressed specifically him calling her stupid but maybe she truly didn't understand him. She is clearly more comfortable in her role as a mommy. I had my doubts at first.

Honestly, with Wills strength he probably could climb up the railing and over the top. I doubt he would do that but you never know. I wonder if they made the change to comply and then made changes after the kids were theirs. He also asked if average size parents put a lock, that high, most probably don't.

The Human Beings Known as the Arnold-Klein Family

I completely agree seeing people with money is always more interesting. I also, think their popularity stems from the fact that they along with the Roloffs were the first show highlighting little people and then for them to be so impressive with their accomplishments drew you in. Honestly, I like the Hamils and Johnstons better because you see reality,,they disagree, have scenarios that we can all relate to. Whether to buy furniture or a TV because of the budget, where as all of a sudden you see an, IMO, unnecessary suv on the little couple. They can do whatever they want with their $ but if I want to see rich folks I'll tune into Bravo and watch the Housewives franchises. -

Maybe their son is starting a family and now they want to do for him what they did for Jen. But now that I think about it, when they moved to Texas they stated that since Jen and her brother were no longer in Florida it didn't seem like home anymore. When I look at them with the kids I see nothing but total love and I don't think they are tired of them but more that they simply aren't needed day to day as they thought they would be. Remember initially they were going to have a newborn through surrogacy and that was when they moved. So the kids are older sooner and with Kate they may feel comfortable going back. The heat alone would make me leave, it's ridiculous in Texas. Totally off topic, do any of you think it's odd that Bill and Jen don't show any little people friends? I remember years ago when Jen was thinking of carrying a baby she said some of her friends that are smaller than she had carried babies. Maybe they don't want to be in the show. I have also noticed that they have no affiliation with the little people of America. As a doctor and businessman I would think they would partipate to let teens know they can work hard and be whatever they choose to be. I truly believe that Bill thinks he is just short and doesn't identify with little person or dwarf. I also notice in the interview scenes they always show them from chest up as The Johnstons and The Hamils are shown together on a couch or loveseat where clearly their feet just come to the end of the cushion. Maybe I'm just over analyzing and this is a fault of mine. But I notice little things like this. Also, Bill never sits back in a chair he always sits on the edge so his feet touch the floor even if it's just the tip of his toe. -

The episode tomorrow is trick or treating and Zoey's hair is short. Hopefully we will see what lead to the pixie cut. I do remember Bill stating he wanted her with the pixie so I'm sure he influenced the cut. I've seen pictures since the initial cut and it, IMO, looks really bad. It's shorter and uneven. Her bangs are extremely short as if they have been cut with a razor, it's not soft at all. I wish I could attach a picture. If interested either go to Jens Instagram or Twitter. -
I thought it was inappropriate and he was trying to put her on the spot. But Jen is a people pleaser so I wouldn't expect anything less from her to comply.

Unless the conversation has been had to connect the camera to being on TV or if they are allowed to watch themselves I don't think they have made that connection yet. But definately as they get older and they see themselves when they were younger and their classmates see it as well in reruns or whatever, it maybe an issue of "jealousy" from some kids that they were on TV and to see what they are privileged to and fortunate to have inside their home. Kids can be extremely cruel and this on top of possibly being bullied for being little.

Are you serious? Only $2000. He at least spent 3 or 4x that. Especially when Chloe wanted a dressing area and hair and makeup for the walkers of the dogs. Why did he go to her anyway, they are dogs, tell the owners to come in after 5 attire and leave it at that. That part was ridiculous to me. That added another "couple thou" to the cost. I agree with another post that they just wanted to show Bill "working".
-
but also remember her arms are shorter so she's not having to rise as high. Most kids today are so overweight and inactive you are completely right.
-
Remember she's barely 50lbs and as a child she said she could do 100 push-ups in a matter of minutes.
-
That's what I thought initially that all of the model dogs would be up for adoption but once the auditions started I knew different. It seems he was more about glamour and having it be on larger scale than what it was truly meant for.

I did love this episode, I'm noticing less time of Jen being at work, but I do remember her saying in an interview that she no longer sees patients and is just focusing on her directing the simulation center, which I think is a M-F traditional hour job and no on call work. I thought it was odd that she said she hadn't see them swim in awhile because all of their lessons have been during the week and this one was on a Saturday. It made me think, do they not ever swim except at lessons. Clearly she would see them swim on any given family day outside. I know she can't swim but I'm hoping Bill can. What a bummer if the kids are only learning how to swim for safety and not to enjoy their pool. As always Bill in my opinion, being impressive with his larger than life vocabulary, referring to the kids legs and arms as appendages and their head to make a starfish in the water. The fire station visit was awesome and clearly another coincidence of Will somehow following in his grandpa and uncles footsteps without even knowing it. I noticed when it was an actual call and the fireman trying to get WIll out quickly so he could see it and Jen was saying No No No, you saw Will looking back and pulling back from the fire fighter as if to say, I have to listen to my mom. I have a feeling he will go into some sort of work that helps people, unfortunately, he may not be physically able to be a fireman or police officer but there are definately other things he can do to directly help others, which he seems to just naturally want to do. I still hate the grunt that Bill makes when he picks up Will that he has done since they got him. I'm not sure if Will is really heavy for him or if he is just exaggerating. Knowing Bill he's exaggerating. The fire drill was great as well and Will is at the perfect age where he will remember what to do as long as it's done consistently, Zoey, not so much, but as she gets older she will. I think Will got the feeling of the knob and putting a blanket under the door right off. I do have a tiny fear that if there is a fire Will maybe so concerned about Zoey he may risk life and limb to get to her and make sure she's safe. The not letting Will saying stupid go was also good to see. In the past, we have seen Jen discipline him and I am sure Bill has no problem doing this. But he pretty much knew right away he had gotten caught, with how he held the paper towel to his mouth. I see so often that a child will get in timeout for doing something but won't be told why it's wrong to do what they have done. It's as if you just accept timeout because I'm mom and ask no questions. I love how she explained why the word isn't nice and should t be said. Overall great episode.

I remember that episode and I did notice the lock is low enough so apparently the changed it for the approval and then adjusted it to fit what the felt was safe. I strongly doubt Will sold jump off the balcony if he climbed to the top or Zoey for that matter but you never know with kids. I think I would never have my kids on a different level from me for this exact reason. It just seems to add another measure of a safety issue that doesn't even have to exist. With all of the $ they have spent on non necessities that they can't spend $ on an automated locking and unlocking system for the balcony doors that the kids couldn't access but clearly Bill or Jen could immediately.

I loved this episode as well, I love seeing them have fun and being carefree and Jen not trying to make very thing look perfect. Will is clearly well behaved and Zoey maybe the handful but she's 4 and I seem to remember Will was handful also at that age. On the pixegate, If you go to Jens Instagram or Twitter you will see several pics of Zoey's short haircut during Halloween and then an even shorter haircut after that. Initially it looked similar to Jens but later it didn't look soft and cute but more edgy.

I did enjoy this episode and I agree with mostly all of your posts. Zoey seemed very bratty and was not corrected on her bad behavior even after she swung whatever she had in her had and hit Jen. Jen simply threatened with a timeout but of course no action was taken, this behavior needs to be addressed because it's just going to get worse and once Zoey is bigger than Jen it's going to be a loss cause. It also seems that the party may have gotten in the way of her nap time because she clearly stated to was sleepy and wanted a nap. I don't want to judge the price of this party, but when my sister got married and we reserved a room at a rather nice hotel similar looking as this one it was $7,000, but this was for 7 hours I believe and Zoey's party was 2 hours. But it was definately on the fancy side. I also can't believe how Jen has no common sense with all of her book sense, to buy all of those tea cups without even checking what goes into the decorating of them. She is truly dense in a lot of situations. I also think it was ridiculous to expect the kids to be ok with balloons in their faces the entire ride in the car and the back of the SUV was empty. To yell at them to stop pushing the balloons into the front seat because Baba was driving, that was just dumb IMO. The progress of the kids is great and I love to see it. maybe that was the only one that was filmed but I do seem to remember Jen stating prior to getting Zoey that she loved having tea parties as a child so it's probably more for her, like everything seems to be. why would the cameras stop them from correcting bad behavior? They have done it in the past and that is reality, hence a reality show. My mom said the same thing or possibly they had that part edited out, which I don't understand either.
