  1. 4x04: The Wedding Of Dan And Louise Promotional Photos https://www.dgepress.com/abc/shows/the-conners/episodes/the-conners-the-wedding-of-dan-and-louise-10-13/
  2. Personally it doesn't matter if the people are fictional or not and maybe the writers didn't want to go that route with the Dan maybe they felt it would be better and much easier to have him just be with Louise because he knows her and has known her for years and with new person it'd probably would have been more difficult for Dan to get to know the person or a few dates if they went that way and I don't see anything wrong with him dating Louise and marrying her, not only that she's wanted him for over 40 years, but that's just my opinion.
  3. Yes I’ve read that article I was referring to others in the fandom, but thanks for posting it here though.
  4. I realize that it wasn't the writers who broke them up and that it was ELS, but I still didn't like it. I just said the writers because most would say that if they didn't realize the actual actresses/actors wanted the couple to break up and in this case it was ELS which a lot of people didn't know it was him that wanted to stop the relationship until years later. Just saying.
  5. I so agree! I’d like to add the writers and John Goodman decided to have Dan go slowly with his relationship with Louise and it did, it was never rushed as a lot of the fans think.
  6. Ah okay well yes she was never mentioned in the original series at all that I can remember so yeah I guess that would be confusing if you don’t remember of it. Besides that those wiki sites really aren't that reliable either. Glad it was fixed.
  7. https://www.spoilertv.com/2021/09/the-conners-episode-404-wedding-of-dan.html 4x04: The Wedding Of Dan And Louise press release It’s Dan and Louise’s wedding day, but it’s a far-from-perfect walk down the aisle, especially when a weather report forecasts that a tornado is headed for Lanford creating chaos and surprises on “The Conners,” WEDNESDAY, OCT. 13 (9:00-9:31 p.m. EDT), on ABC. Watch episodes on demand and on Hulu the day following their premieres. Guest starring is Katey Sagal as Louise, Fred Savage as Dr. Harding and Nat Faxon as Neville.
  8. Louise was always independent and didn't want to get married or settle down at first with Dan, but when she came down with COVID (and almost dying from it) it changed her outlook and she realized that and told Dan in the season 3 finale she wanted to have a partner and didn't want to be alone anymore so I can't blame her for that and wanting to get married. Both Louise and Dan know it's gonna be stressful for them after they get married and according to the writers we are gonna see how that's going to unfold very soon for both of them. As for the wedding expenses she offered to pay for a lot of it so I don't think she's getting her money mixed into Dan's at all, (besides that in the living room Dan told her she going to wish she still had her money after she told him she wanted a big wedding) not to mention she has very valid reasons for wanting a big wedding. (after at first not wanting one) Plus Louise was practically living there before the proposal so it's not going to be totally new, this time it'll be full time for Louise being there. Just saying.
  9. Yes it is, I agree and they are gonna be family so I think it's gonna be a lot of fun with their scenes.
  10. Yeah Jackie & Louise are gonna be a great team I think which is so weird considering Jackie didn't like Louise at all at first, (nor in high school) it's gonna be fun to watch them together and as a family.
  11. Yes I so agree with you and I understand why she wants a big wedding as well and it makes sense to me as her reasoning she had very valid points.
  12. Yes she is aware of his money issues, but at the same time I also think she loves him. I think she was trying to help ease the money issues because he was worried about that he told her as much which he obviously has to be. I'm just saying they are still trying to figure all this out together and it's a little messy right now and with Louise never being married before I'm sure that's also factoring into this as well, it's gonna be complicated for the both of them, but I think they'll be able to work it out somehow. Louise excepts him for who he is which I love and he seems too as well after she explained about the wedding and why she wants it to be big, but I see your point too because they should be doing this together and I think they are trying as much as they can.
  13. I don't think it's stupid she wants a big wedding at all. (which she didn't want at first and it was a shock to her as well she said) As I said before she offered to pay for it which I think is a sweet gesture on her part. She wants the wedding of her dreams because her parents didn't have it that way and also she mentioned that's how their marriage felt to her like it wasn't happy or something and plus she's never been married before so this is all new for her. That how I saw it, just saying.
  14. She didn't want a big wedding at first, but it hit her when she went home because her parents didn't do it that way when they married and that's why she wants a big wedding not because of the money issues (even though she did offer to pay for the wedding and the cake she wants) at least that's how I saw it.
  15. I love this picture! and I love it even more that Louise is in it!! ♥️ Oh yeah she's a Conner now.
  16. I'm assuming you don't get the apt or house? but I don't know for sure because I don't know about this stuff.
  17. I don't think we know that as of yet... but to me it doesn't seem like she is gonna move out right now, but I could be wrong.
  18. OMG I didn't even catch that and I guess the writers didn't either! That is weird.. huh unless she meant it in some other way like when she came back to Lanford that might have been what she meant by that statement because she was gone from there for 30 years.
